Orange County Housewives Reunion Part 1:Absurd

Absurd and dull. Thanks to Andy Cohen’s unwillingness to ask a real question, there were no fireworks, just absurdities.

Absurd: Gretchen’s denial of the general, world-wide Slade Smiley hatred. Buying Jo de la Rosa’s music catalog?  Slade is still trying to hurt Jo, and using Gretchen to do it. Slime ball.

Absurd: Memo to Lynne Curtin: a wolf is a better mother than you. And the face-lift is fucked up.

Sublime:  Vicki’s behavior (so far) Calling out Gretchen on Slade’s lie about his relationship with Lauri Waring, Gretchen needed to hear the truth.

Sublime: Seeing Tamra Barney come into her own, now if only she would get a makeover.

Absurd: Any utterance from the lips of Alexis Bellino, especially concerning her so-called religion. Fasting? Please.

Jeana Keough’s Home Saved Once Again

It was reported last week that Jeana Keough’s Coto de Caza home was to be auctioned off.

According to this article, the wolf is no longer at the door.

    Former Housewife Jeana Keough

Former Orange County housewife Jeana Keough may be breathing a sigh of relief today.  According to Lanser on Real Estate, Keough reported that her 7-bedroom-9-bath Coto de Caza home has been saved from foreclosure through a loan modification.

    She writes:

“I am happy to report the system works! There is no foreclosure on my home anymore. After I was denied back in January, after working with Wamu/Chase for 6 months, they said I didn’t fit the program, I am a fighter so I called my friend Jason Cougenhour at HUD, our illustrious Congressman, and our Governor’s office, and found out that 75% of the people in loan mod’s weren’t getting accepted. That incensed me. I talked and wrote, harassed, gave speeches, encouraged people to write email blasts, used all of my Le Tip connections and last Monday the government changed the specifications. I am happy to say Chase has stopped foreclosure, and made my payments affordable, my work has picked up, and I have stopped efforts to sell my home at a greatly reduced discount. I plan to live here until I am ready to sell. I have been helping so many people save there homes, it is a difficult and frustrating process that I really wasn’t focusing on sales. With the possible sale of my house at auction, and the crazy people coming out of the woodwork to buy my 4.5 million dollar house for 1.3, you find out who your friends are. I am blessed, I have my health, my amazing children.”

Real Housewives of Orange County: Simon’s Season

A post-mortem for Simon Barney, of sorts.

Who ever thought Season 5 of the Real Housewives of Orange County would turn out to be “all Simon Barney, all the time”? From the first episode on, Simon Barney’s emotional meltdown has been the focus. This about a guy claiming to no longer wanting to participate in the show.

Poor Tamra. Not a Tamra Barney fan, but she put up with mucho bullshit over the years. Simon certainly didn’t appreciate the truck driver with tits becoming the main breadwinner, lol!  With the loss of his job at Fletcher-Jones Mercedes, he spun out of control. We saw hints of it last season, especially during “Naked Wasted”.    Funny how the character traits he married Tamra for became the things he tried to change in her. Isn’t that always the way?

The Limo conversation on the way to the finale was something. I’m surprised they were able to stay together for 3 months after that. But it was real, and it let us see the impending separation.

Blaming all his troubles on Vicki Gunvalson and feeling so threatened by her success shows how fragile his little ego is. Then bitching and whining everywhere, first on his Bravo blog, then on his Facebook page, put the icing on the cake. Would we know about Eddie Judge were it not for Simon? Probably not.

He won’t appear on the reunion show, so we may have seen the last of Simon Barney. Maybe.

Auction Date Set For Jeana Keough’s House

Jeana Keough of the Real Housewives of Orange County received her second notice of default in December. She has lowered the price from 5.5 million to 3.9.

    from the real estalker:

But alas, whatever mortgage restructuring she managed to make happen back in the spring of 2009, it did not scratch her financial pinch itch for long because according to public records a second nasty Notice of Default was filed on the property in mid-December of 2009. Hold tight, butter beans, it gets worse. On the 10th of December of 2010 an even more nasty Notice of Sale was recorded on Miz Keough’s casa with an auction date set for the fifth of March, 2010. Oh dear. The minimum bid, according to the public records we accessed, is $1,519,824, which we assume–but do not know for sure–is the amount Miz Keough owes her lender. It’s very possible that Miz Keough has managed to stave off this trustee’s sale so don’t nobody go down to the courthouse in Santa Ana looking to bid on this uber-suburban albatross without first confirming the sale is a go-go.
