You would think Caroline Manzo would dress her children, Chris Manzo and Albie Manzo, properly for this “event”.
Both Albie and Chris looked scruffy and unpressed as they provided commentary during the three hour “Manzothon” that aired on Bravo TV Saturday, August 18.
How bogus can Bravo be? They served us the last three episodes of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, with lame commentary by the Manzo children minus Lauren Manzo, plus Greggy Bennett, the Manzo Mascot.
All credit is due to Greggy. He has screen presence, something the Manzo children lack. Sitting there in his clean, crisp pink shirt, looking like he’d had a shower recently, unlike the Manzos, he carried the whole thing. The only witty (bitchy) commentary was his.
Like the ill-fated “Boys to Manzo” webisodes last year, the boring Manzo boys make Greggy Bennett look good.
How did Bennett become a quasi-Manzo anyway? In Season 2, he climbed in on Teresa Giudice’s coattails…….is that a familiar theme? Then dumped her for the Manzos.
He first appeared at the Posche Fashion Show, sitting with Teresa and Jacqueline Laurita, the Country Club episode when Ashley Holmes pulled out Danielle Staub’s hair extensions.
Another Player in the “Hate Danielle Staub” Game
The rest is history, with Greggy appearing in nearly every episode during Season 3. He is also thought to be @thefauxmilania on twitter.
You would think Caroline would see Greggy is eclipsing her helicopter kids and get rid of him. Not to mention his presence is what inspired the “gay or not” controversy about Chris and especially Albie.
Bah humbug, Bravo, for serving up old episodes and dubbing them as new.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sunday nights on Bravo.

Why is Gregg relevant? Can’t stand him. And as for the Manzo kids, I can’t stand any of them.
i love that you said that guggly greggy looked recently showered! had me lolling! guggly greggers ALWAYS looks just sticky and greasy, and i’m just positive he has a grimy stench to him — ALWAYS! he’s down to bitch but he’s afraid to bathe- whatta combo YIKES
The Manzo children are as interesting as watching paint dry. Greggy isn’t much better. I wanted to like them, but major YAWN.
