Tamra Barney delivered the best line of the evening. Best line meaning why in hell is Gretchen folding Slade’s clothes anyway? I’ll bet Jo de la Rosa never did. Best line meaning we’re still on the lame Gretchen Rossi does Pussycat Dolls storyline. It looks like we finally see this “performance” on the next episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County. This week we were treated to Gretchen’s constant fake anxiety over her appearance. What a drag!
Gretchen and Alexis Bellino met up to discuss her segment on Fox 5. Gretchen claims she was offered the segment first, which was news to everyone — including Alexis! But check Gretchen’s face, it’s an obvious lie, and she’s pissed about Alexis having that opportunity.
UPDATE: On her Bravo blog, Alexis says:

To make matters worse, on Watch What Happens, Live!, guests Lauri Waring and Vicki Gunvalson think Gretchen was trying to intentionally hurt Alexis, and Lauri stated Slade was doing anything he could to stay on the show, and that he found a way (Gretchen). Well, this made Gretchen lose it on twitter, which is very unusual for her:

Then, she comments on Vicki saying “now that Briana is cancer-free” by saying Briana never had cancer. (true) But Gretchen can’t play the cancer card, since Slade has such issues with paying child support for his child Grayson Smiley,11, who has incurable cancer.

Granted, I’m sure she did learn a lot about cancer when she had the Jeff Beitzel storyline.
In the meantime, Gretchen wasn’t the only one going off on twitter. Tamra Barney is playing mean girl all the way this season, as usual, this time her target is the weakest one, Alexis Bellino:

Whoa, Tamra! Remember Season 4, when you were so mean to Gretchen that all the fans were on her side? Tamra didn’t learn her lesson, I see.
In the meantime, looks like Jim Bellino is engaging in one of those dubious business adventures of his. Apparently he found partners to go in with him on a trampoline, yes, trampoline franchise.
Shady Jim Bellino knows how to get businesses started, but any investors better watch out for the bottom line. His obvious chin implant? Priceless.
Heather Dubrow and her husband Terry are a breath of fresh air on this franchise. It’s good to see a well groomed, appropriately dressed woman with a brain in Orange County.
As for Lauri Waring returning to the series, many would love to see that happen. The only one opposed to such a move is her husband George Peterson. He pulled her off the show because of all his skeletons in the closet. Indeed, the family portrait on WWHL was to counter some of the negative publicity about the “Brady Bunch”.

So, Gretchen is getting ready for some career defining performance with the Pussycat Dolls (Really??) and has strained her voice but does not seek out the best laryngologist in LA? Huh? I don’t believe for a minute her voice problems were due to screaming at Vicki. I think she was freaking out and “choking.” She did do a recording a couple of years ago in which she sounded pretty good so she probably can sing, but she is right. She can’t sing at the level of someone who is in a big Vegas show. The whole thing is ridiculous and strains credulity.

One could say a lot of negative things about Vicki ( A LOT!), but she is undoubtedly one hard working lady. Too hard, I would say, given her marriage. And she was correct when she said that she does have a real job and that all the other was just ancillary.
Really would much rather hear about all those Peterson family skeletons. I know the ex-wife was accusing him of abusing the kids and keeping them from her but it’s hard to believe because she sounds like a psycho…but I also think george is creepy and scary. whatever happened to the “missing” daughter? A2S, you should investigate and post an update (please).
