Laurie Kelso is the sister of the late Russell Armstrong, and she was given a chance to dispute Taylor Armstrong’s claims of abuse by Russell before his suicide death August 15, 2011.
Given a chance? Not really. Dr. Drew was clearly hostile to her point of view. Laurie was able to stand her ground for most of it, including his assault on her family genetics, his implications that she and Russell were bi-polar. Laurie thinks Russell’s death was a murder.

Another interesting part of the story? Follow me here. Jennifer Gimenez worked for Dr. Drew on “Celebrity Rehab”. She now lives with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills “Friend of the Show” Brandi Glanville. Brandi, on reunion episode 2, clearly stated she thought Taylors’ book was a bunch of bull. Interesting, is it not?
Taylor, in all her interviews during her media blitz this week, when questioned why Russell went on the show, claimed Russell was “narcissistic” and loved being on television.
Tell me, during season 1, did you ever see anyone as uncomfortable on TV as Russell Armstrong?

is that Gennifer Jimenez the one that was sort of the housemother on the Celeb rehab? I only saw the season with the guy from Guns n Roses. That looks like her, but minus about 90 pounds? Is that a very old or very new picture of her you posted?
If it is new(ish), she looks great!
It all sounds good on paper, however, a court of law can sometimes be someones worst nightmare!
It’s obvious there are skeletons in the Armstrong closet, one’s that perhaps will get covered up, and never taken into consideration.
People are all to quick to pronounce judgement based on what they see on a reality show. It’s what goes on behind the scenes that too many reality show cast members pay big bucks, as well as recruit and use even their own kids to paint them in a good light.
I speak from experience.
Please Iighten up on Taylor. Domestic abuse is a weird scary thing and the actions of those being abused dont always make sense to those of us who are strong enough not to put ourselves into that situation.
I agree that Taylor’s statements seem false. Russell was always sheepish and awkward on TV. He was totally not into doing that show. Tay Tay was the fame hungry one. I also thought it was b.s. when Taylor claimed that Kennedy referred to her dad as a “boy who screamed” at her Mom. Kennedy seemed to have a good rapport with Russell. I am sure she viewed him as her Dad, not as a “boy’.
She also said on WWH one time that after Russell’s suicide, Kennedy asked if “Daddy did something stupid again…”. Who says shit like that? The whole thing creeps me out. I really hope they get rid of her and the whole Dr. Drew/Dr. Sophey/Jenifer Giminez wannabe celebrity crew. I really liked Drew and Brandi Glanville but her connection to Giminez and Drews to Sophey is so famewhorey.

I only hope when the MMR Trial by Jury starts, then the REAl, UNBIASED, QUALIFIED, LICENSED IN PHYSCOLOGISTS can question and evaluate Ms Conn! Thank God in a court of law, FACTS/PROOF are what opinions are based on, not one random eray that could be a result of a drrunken fall! Timelines will be researched, videos, actual live witnesses will all be presented, unlike this circus TayCon, Dr Sophy and Dr Drew have created! I pray Russell’s family sues this bunch of reality hoes for their hurtful, slanderous, and irresponsible treatment of this issue and this family! Those 3 are a DISGRACE to DV, to the deceased and the survivors of the deseased and HOW DARE DR Drew be so ignorant and ill-informed to make comments he made publically last night! Those quacks need their medical licence suspended, if not revoked!
