Ramona Singer is apparently getting the “bitch edit”, that tried and true Bravo TV formula.
As for Carole Radziwill, a source close to her says the author and widow of Prince Anthony Radziwill is trying to remain “as dignified as possible” on the show. (Good luck with that).
The rift between Ramona and Sonja is surprising, since they seemed to be true friends during Season 3. Most of the cast just returned from a trip to London that was shot for season five. Ramona did not go on the Bravo sponsored trip.
“Ramona is still a troublemaker,”says the source to Gatecrasher. “She delivers drama big time” in the upcoming season and, the source adds, she’s rewarded for her efforts.
The source says that in exchange for her often outrageous antics, Singer gets to promote her business and her wine, Ramona Singer Pinot Grigio.
Speaking of Ramona’s Pinot Grigio, the New York Post Reports:
The “Real Housewives of New York” are having some booze-related issues while filming the new season. Manhattan restaurants Ciano and Philippe refused Ramona Singer’s demands to serve her eponymous brand of pinot grigio during taping at the eateries. “She asked that her wine be there when she ordered dinner. It wasn’t on the list, but she offered to send over a case. But the restaurants refused to accommodate,” said one insider, adding: “You know how Ramona is about her pinot.” The restaurants’ rep had no comment. Meanwhile, sources said other establishments are not opening their doors as freely for filming “Housewives,” having soured on the series. “They’re trying to book locations at the last minute . . . giving the impression that others are falling through,” said a nightlife source. A Bravo rep said there have been “no issues” clearing locations outside the normal scheduling issues.

The Real Housewives of New York will return to Bravo in the spring. No official date has been set.

That is exactly dead on… Ramona is the worst housewife of all the series combined and that is saying alot (Vicky Gunalson, Tamra Barney,Nene Leakes, Taylor Armstrong, Danielle Staub, Theresa Guidice yep worse than those HW’s)
Put a fork in all things “Housewives”. The franchises, Bravo TV and Andy Cohen are done.
I wonder if Bravo is gearing up for the end of these as well. they seem to be introducing an awful lot of shows this coming year.
I’m with Ruthie. How many more episodes of the same stupid fights are we to be subjected too season after season, franchise after franchise, with rotating “new” housewives taking the place of another cast member?
The formula has been done to bits, it’s the same stuff over and over. Someone gets “offended” at some slight that most of us would ignore at some dinner party/event where half the cast is either avoiding one another or talking “smack” behind their back. For 15 weeks we sit through this repetitive crap and wonder why we do.
It’s all been done 100 times over and installing “newbies” into the mix is not going to change the same narrative employed by each series. None of these women are worth the time and effort.
Bravo has milked this enterprise to death. Enough already.

Otherwise it’s just a bunch of rich bitches going to lunch and shoe shopping.
After all these years (I started with the first season of OC), I am finally done with Housewives. Maybe. I haven’t seen an episode of BH or Atlanta. I could only stand bits and pieces of NYC but I did see that entire train wreck in NJ. That could explain why I’m over it at last. NJ is sad because on that one very young children involved.
