On last night’s episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, we begin to get some answers to the statement made during the awful limousine scene at the end of Season 1.  “You stole my house” she screamed at Mauricio Umansky.  Since then, Mauricio and Kyle Richards have been self-righteously defending themselves against the allegation.

As you can see from my original post (below) I always thought there was some ring of truth to it, even though Kim is seldom sober. I found this Entertainment Tonight “Whatever Happened To” video.

Last night, she states she wanted $20,000 for her part of the Palm Desert home, only to find out she had no part.

  Bingo

Remember, Kim had an extremely lucrative acting career as a child, generating millions for the family.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finale left us with more questions than answers.  Why did Kim accuse Kyle of stealing her house?

About four minutes in, this video from Entertainment Tonight shows , looking younger and happier, and her mother Kathy Fenton, shortly before Kathy’s death in 2002.

In the video, Kim states she moved herself and her four children to Arizona, where her mother resided, during that time.  Reportedly, when she moved back to California, the properties were no longer in her name.

Interesting?  Kim stated during the finale that she bought the house they lived in as children. Is this the house her sister Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky “stole’ from her?

I took it that Kim borrowed $20,000 from Kyle and her husband and used her portion of the house as collateral. She said that when she tried to give them the $20,000 back they decided they did not want to share the house anymore and would let her back in. it is shady because I am certain that house is worth more than $60,000 which would be Kim’s third share. Sounds to me like Kyle and husband did basically steal it if they had an agreement the $20,000 was a loan. In so many families it’s party until money and inheritances are involved. Also I do believe Kim supported her mother and sisters and I bet during her time they didn’t have the laws to protect child stars so she probably has nothing to show for supporting a family as a child. Why didn’t the adult mother work instead of making her child work. Sad. Kyle’s husband is a creep anyway. In season one when kyle had problems with Camille he told her that he had to take care of his clients because he worked with Camille and Kelsey on realistate stuff, so what about taking care of your wife jerk.

You know what Kyles explanation was lame in her blog, kylerichards.net and Kyle is going with against what her mother wanted. If she wanted it to be in Kyle’s name then she would of left it in Kyle’s name. So what, she did some remodeling, want to play tit for tat Kyle? Kim bought it.

Clearly Mauricio is a greedy jew… and Kyle shafted her sister.. rotten people.

I took it to mean that Kim wanted to borrow $20k against her 1/3 share of the house.

Somehow that translated into her “selling” her share. We don’t know if she got more than $20k–maybe they convinced her to take a bigger loan in trade for signing away her share?

No fan of Kyle, and don’t trust her or her shady real estate husband. I don’t give a shit if he’s handsome or not–I had no use for him after he said Kim owed HIM an apology. (Really? do you REALLY want to say that, without owning up to why?)

Wait till the Hiltons file for bankruptcy. I predict it’s going to happen. We’ll see then what dirt comes out.

Kyle is from hell – extremely spoiled, self-centered, immature, super manipulative, vain and very mean. Kim doesn’t have the strength, sanity or stable friends/family (other than Kyle) behind her to empower her enough to dump Kyle. Who needs enemies with family like Kyle or “The Wicked Witch of the West”? How in the world did big Kathy get the $ to afford all those properties? It doesn’t appear that big Kathy did anything with her life but have kids and manage little Kim’s career…. And it doesn’t appear that Kyle has ever worked for anything in her life. Soooo, the money for all big Kathy’s properties had to come from managing Kim’s career or from little Kathy Hilton but definitely not from Kyle (or Mauricio – who is basically a glorified salesman and probably got paid off by his Hilton bosses to take the responsibility of Kyle off of Kathy Hilton’s hands). Kyle and big Kathy are monster leaches. But then again Kim is an awful responsibility as well that Kyle has volunteered to take on so maybe it all shakes out in the end. But that’s Kyle’s choice – Kim would be fine without Kyle bossing her around and judging her 24/7. They’re in a toxic, codependent dance from….hell. BLUCK.

What I understood from last night’s show was a little different. It sounded like Big Kathy left the Palm Desert house to all three sisters. A few years ago, Kim needed some money and cashed out $20k from the house, not intending to sell her entire 1/3 ownership for merely $20k. But apparently she must have signed over her share to Kyle to get that $20k. Then Kim said she wanted to repay the $20k she had borrowed from the house and re-establish her 1/3 ownership, but Kyle refused to let her back in. So if my understanding is correct, then I would be upset, too, if I were Kim. First of all, 1/3 interest in that home would clearly be worth more than $20k, and secondly it is sad Kyle won’t let her back in. It sounds like Kim made a legal misstep in signing over the house when she got the $20k, but probably did so trusting her sister. I am sure Kyle would argue that she and Mauricio have been paying all the taxes, maintenance, and upkeep, etc., but if they really want to own the home solely, they should at the minimum pay Kim fairly for the 1/3 ownership right she signed over. But, then again, it sounds like there is a lot of emotional attachment to the house and probably nothing short of restoring Kim’s 1/3 ownership after she repays the $20k (which she seems to be willing to repay to restore her rights) will heal this wound. If I were Kyle, I woudl do it. She has her own house and does nto need the money and shoudl realize how much it means to Kim, who did, after all, support the family when she was a child and probably bought the house to begin with anyway. I feel for Kim – she definitely has gotten a raw deal in life. No childhood, the tragedy of her fiance dying, and sisters who put money and status before each other. Kim needs someone who puts her first, ahead of money. And I bet that would solve a lot of her issues (and she does have some for sure). But it has got to be hard for her to trust anyone at this point. And she is a sad figure, not the person who should be villainized and attacked like Kyle is prone to do. I do not like Kyle and the way she treats Kim.

I understood it the same way as you. I love the entire cast (except for Camille predivorce). With that said, I cannot understand why Kyle would think $20k was 1/3 of the house. That cannot be the buyout price. There just has to be more to it than this. Mauricio and Kyle really seem to believe that everything was squared off, and Mauricio especially seemed really hurt by Kim’s accusation. But, it appears as though Kim got the royal shaft. It’s really not fair, since Kim did contribute to the family while growing up. Then again, every story has three sides….

If Kyle were my sister ai might be sloshed all the time also. Kim also spoke (last season) about how she bout Kyle her first car. I have great sorrow for Kim. She had no childhood and just look at the family she has. Kyle let Taylor trash talk and falsely accuse Kim last season and said NOTHING. But she whined and moaned endlessly about Kim not having her back in NY.
