UPDATE: Michaele Salahi Kidnapped?
As reported here, Michaele and Tareq Salahi are hosting an event, so they say, after the foreclosure auction September 18. Fauquier County, where Oasis Winery is located, will auction off the property.
The infamous White House gatecrashers , cast members of the defunct Real Housewives of DC, are continuing to use Montel Williams name, as reported by WUSA yesterday:
WASHINGTON (WUSA) — Montel Williams is the latest person to battle with Tareq and Michaele Salahi. According to a member of Williams’ public relations team, event promoters lied about Williams’ scheduled appearance for “the apparent re-opening of their failed vineyard”, never asked for permission to use his name and falsely claimed he is a supporter.
On multiple websites, a group claiming association with the Salahis posted that “A Hollywood Oasis” would celebrate DC’s MOST FABULOUS Magazine and the reopening of Oasis Winery with food, drinks, a fashion show, and celebrities including Montel Williams. The event was even posted to the WUSA 9 Events Calendar, a community board for people to post local events. In the listing, the posters had written: “A portion of the profits will be donated to Montel Williams Multiple Sclerosis Foundation (http://www.montelms.org/).”

Williams’ attorneys sent the Salahis and their publicist cease and desist letters to stop using his name. According to Williams’ PR team, the Salahis have agreed to stop using his name in association with the event. Williams’ PR team says several government agencies and law enforcement are “investigating the group responsible for this event.”
The Salahi’s are claiming the Multiple Sclerosis Society is supporting this event. People are purchasing tickets to the non-existent event, which the Salahi’s bill as a “grand re-opening” of the winery.

This girl needs to stop! I have MS and her claims of 17 years with it are ridiculous. Yes, there are 4 subtypes of MS, but all involve progressive disability, especially without treatment. Her family would have noticed something, friends would have noticed something. Her mistake here is the claim of 17 years. Sorry Michaele, it just doesn’t add up. No matter her lies, she needs to keep the MS society out of this. Those of us with the disease need the donations, and don’t want any detractors such as this to sway people away from giving. Maybe now that she is away from Tareq, she will let this story drop.

I forgot to say I hope that Redskins’ owner Dan Snyder buys the winery. he is perhaps the only person hated more in the DC area, and would take Tareq to the ground. No one crosses or disses Dan Snyder and gets away with it!!!!! Just ask the City Paper…LOL!!!
I hope that whoever buys this place at auction immediately appoints a security team for it. B/c I have no doubt that Tareq would try to get back on the property.
