Well, here we are, the episode Big Brother fans have been drooling over. Lot’s has been happening over the past week, as those with the live feed are fully aware. For those who don’t follow 24/7 we’ll just take it one step at a time as it plays out on the live eviction show.
First off, some back ground. We know Dani is up for eviction along side her bestie Kalia, who is feeling pretty secure right now. After all, Dani is the one the JeJo team loves to hate. Dani’s feeling punked, insisting Jeff went back on his word to leave her the hell alone this week. Fat chance. In a tit for tat move, Jeff tossed her to the proverbial lions. While Kalia has a single conversation with Jeff asking he let her off the hook for old times’ sake, Dani is hitting the pavement, or in this case the Astroturf to garner support for her lofty and charitable cause, herself. The house has a dark cloud over it as our birthday girl mopes around feeling all Eeyore. Porsche continues to float around the compound like a schoolgirl on summer break, and JeJo sit without a care on their round throne high above the rest.
Dani has been trying to get Adam to vote for her and after harassment to the degree of stalking, he refuses to back her. Shelly on the other hand sees the wisdom of abandoning her darling, love of her life couple. Dani convinces her if she sticks with JeJo, they’ll end up in the winner’s circle leaving Shelly out in the cold. Shelly can’t stomach the thought of Rachel winning a single dollar in this game so she goes to work on Adam on Dani’s behalf, to no avail.
The HGs find a carnival game in the backyard and everyone hangs out to practice for a probable upcoming competition. Shelly chit chats with Rachel, taking the opportunity to tattle on Jeff. He threw the POV competition that ended up in Brenchel’s demise. Dani is one vote short and in the wee hours of Thursday, Rachel heads to the HN room to settle her differences with Evil Dick’s daughter and find out if Jeff did indeed throw the veto game. Dani confirms what Shelly told Rachel and suddenly our red head is whistling a different tune. Apparently Jeff discovered only this morning that Shelly has flipped and he’s fighting mad.
We come back live and Julie announces this show is indeed a double eviction. Julie gives Dani her chance to speak and she rails on the house floaters. Her speech runs long, so all Kalia can say is “Vote for me!”
Here’s the vote to evict:
Jordan – Daniele
Porsche – Kalia
Shelly – Kalia
Rachel – Daniele
Adam – Daniele
Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Nellie!!!!!!! Rachel pulled off an amazing coup. Not only has she evicted Daniele, but now Shelly has been completely exposed as the two timer of the season. I can barely type this I’m so stoked. In the house, the players quickly ready themselves for the HOH competition. No one says a word regarding Dani or Shelly, though to cut the tension, you’ll need a chainsaw.
Julie and Dani chat in the live studio and Dani is adamant she came to play, not to float. The goodbye messages are fairly even keeled until Rachel appears. She slams Dani with no mercy, even telling her she’s nowhere near the game player her father is. That was a personal stab to Dani’s heart. All this passes quickly as time is wasting and we’ve got an entire weeks’ worth of competition to get to. So, let’s go!
With the show half over, we join our houseguests in the backyard for the HOH game ‘Before or After.’ The HGs are given two scenarios and must determine whether the first scenario happened before or after the second scenario.
Adam is knocked out on the second question, quickly followed by Rachel, Porsche and Shelly. With Jordan and Kalia left in the game, Kalia comes out on top. Interestingly enough, it was a food question. She has only a commercial break to decide who will go up while Rachel, Jeff, Jordan and Adam cool their heels on the living room sofas. The pressure is on now. Not surprisingly, Kalia nominates Jeff and Rachel, but the Veto competition is about to commence. The nominees have a chance to save themselves or be saved by their alliance members. Rachel knows she has to win this or head to the jury house, as Jordan and Adam will more than likely save Jeff.
In the POV competition Jeff, Rachel, Kalia, Adam and Shelly must run to huge ball pits and find two clown shoes to bring back to their podiums to win. The event is fast and furious. The HGs dig like rat terriers in search of a fresh rodent and plastic balls go whizzing through the air. Rachel finds her first shoe and heads back for the second one. Everyone but Kalia finds at least one shoe, but it’s Porsche who ends triumphant. Someone yells out, “Hey, you won something!” and she now holds the power to change the nominations. Will she use it?
We land back in the living room, where Porsche still breathless, announces that Dani would approve her move and she has no intention of changing what has already been put into place. With that declaration done, the nominees have a chance to speak. Both appeal to Porsche that they would be the best to keep around. Both are obviously unhappy with this turn of events and Jordan looks completely shell shocked. Shelly is now officially on her s*** list.
After a quick break, we hear Jeff appealing to Shelly who literally runs away from him and the voting begins. Rachel tells the players she respects them. Jeff publicly appeals to Shelly and Jordan is visibly shaken and in tears. Here’s the breakdown to evict:
Jordan – Rachel
Porsche – Jeff
Adam – Rachel
Shelly – Jeff
It is now in Kalia’s hands. She doesn’t need a thinking cap to make her decision. Though she respects his game play, he’s too strong a player and Jeff has to go.
Rachel and Jordan are beside themselves crying and Porsche tries to convince Shelly she made the right choice. One thing is certain – Shelly had better grow eyes in the back of her head. Jordan, for all her caring and sweetness isn’t going to get over this betrayal anytime soon.
I’m exhausted.
