Ok, sorry all for missing the last episode. I was on a plane coming back to LA from the east coast. When I got home, I discovered my cable company had graciously done an update and wiped out my BB recordings. Thanks Time Warner, much obliged.
So let’s catch up. Jordan is HOH. There was a “Have Not” competition in which Rachel and Brendon took the prize. This makes three out of four competitions they’ve won. Pretty impressive, although they are still bickering to the point one must wonder if this relationship is on the rocks. Like crash your boat on the rocks. The vets were pushing Jordan to nominate Cassi and Shelly for eviction, but she chose a different route, Dom and Adam. She wants Dominic outta here. The alliance between Brenchel and JeJo is showing a crack.
Cassi and Dom get together to discuss strategy. He’s fairly convinced he’s going home, but Cassi insists he should fight for his right to belong. Jordan tells Adam to throw the veto so she can get Dom out, a task he’s willing to achieve. Lawon is sure Porsche and Rachel are constantly up to no good as they are attached at the hip. Dani schmoozes Dom with the underlying goal of getting him to do her dirty work. This woman is smart and Dom is putty in her hands. Silly PT (pre-teen).
Brenchel continue to push Jordan to get Cassi out and Jordan is feeling caught in the middle. Jeff describes Rachel as a gnat that keeps buzzing in his ear. HA! Jordon finally has some one on one time with Cassi and explains to the newbie that she’s beautiful and takes away from Rachel’s front and center status.
The POV competition will consist of Adam and Dom, Brendon and Rachel , as well as HOH Jordan and her sweetie pie Jeff. Dom is anything but happy knowing he’s going up against two strong teams while carrying around a 300lb paperweight in Adam. Doh….. Dani will host the competition.
So far in the episode, neither Kalia nor Shelly has uttered a peep. Good floating skills.
The Candyland POV competition is not a duo deal, but an individual event. The contestants must chew gumballs as they traverse a balance beam and place the gum wads in a veto sign pattern. There is a hitch however. Players are eliminated if they fall off the beam unless they agree to take two weeks of slop. They get one more chance to continue. If they fall a second time, it’s all over. Who will fall and who will break a tooth?
Adam admits to not learning to ride a bike until he was 21 years old. Though it’s slow going, he slogs along. Jordan falls from the 4×4 beam and immediately wants to take the two weeks of slop. Jeff is adamant she should not do so. She has no shot of winning and sometimes heart isn’t enough. Don’t do it girlfriend. This ticks off Rachel who is convinced now more than ever she and Brendon need to take back control of the house. QUITER!!! Rachel then falls, slams the two weeks of slop lollipop into her gumball bucket and then falls again. Oh, that just sucks. Dom crosses the finish line first and this means all kinds of trouble for the vets. He’s not shy about his win, either. If he could s*** his d…. Oh never mind.
Jeff lets Rachel know he’s not pleased with her sideline banter, “If the HOH isn’t taking the slop, why are WE even playing?” Brendon is stuck between keeping his girlfriend happy and getting her to understand she needs to tone it down. Ok, STFU, either way. Dom watches with a combination of delight and fascination. Breaking up the awesome foursome works for him. Rachel runs to the bushes to cry and Brendon digs her out to consol her. Kalia finally speaks up and calls her lame. Jordan has one word, “awkward.” Yep. If anyone is a true winner in this it’s Adam. He promised Jordan to back their play and throw the game. Dom won and will surely take them both off the block. Sweet.
Jordan realizes she must choose between what Brenchel wants and Kalia/Lawon who’ve been floating like class 4 PFDs (personal floatation devices). The fab four get together and Rachel apologizes to Jordan. Jeff is not over it and considers back dooring the couple to break them up. This woman is getting on his nerves.
Newbies Cassi and Shelly gather round the HOH campfire and chat with Jordan who is unhappy being HOH this week. She likes everyone and the thought of alienating Brenchel puts her at a disadvantage down the road. Jeff is all for it. This is classic Jordan. She really knows how to work a crowd.
Dominic uses his POV to stay in the game and Jordan is faced with putting up two new nominees. She chooses Shelly and Cassi. Shelly puts on her game face. She’s not about to go down without a fight. Rachel is delighted Jordan followed instructions. Next episode we’ll see who stays and who goes. This should be interesting for sure.
