Ramona Singer and LuAnn de Lesseps tried to kill each other with words on last night’s Real Housewives of New York City. Is it any wonder Bravo TV is rumored to be looking for a more glamorous bunch?
As always with the New York women, the major vehicle for off air “self-expression” is twitter. Last night’s episode is a good example. When Ramona Singer went after Luann through her daughter Victoria earlier this year, toward the end of the original filming season, everyone wondered why. What could have possibly happened during filming to make Ramona launch such an attack? Never in the history of this franchise has anyone attacked a cast mate through a minor child.
Now we know.
Throughout this train wreck of a season, Ramona Singer has been calling LuAnn out for being a “weekend parent”, meaning she spent the week in Manhattan with boyfriend Jacques and only saw her teen-aged children in the Hamptons on weekends. LuAnn has been fighting Ramona by implying she not only has a drinking problem, but that Mario Singer is cheating on Ramona, according to an Allison Dubois clone they met in Morocco. LuAnn has been pretending fake compassion ever since. The dueling Sweet Sixteen parties did not help matters.
When Ramona and LuAnn had the confrontation about Ramona refusing to participate in LuAnn’s latest video project, it was on. Even though Ramona seemingly won that round, forcing Luann to literally run from the restaurant as Ramona came back at her with Count de Lesseps’ infidelities, apparently Ramona continued proving her point.

Well boys and girls, it seems Ramona Singer and LuAnn deLesseps of the Real Housewives of New York are no longer friendly… at all..
Not after Ramona tweeted a link to a video featuring 16 year old Victoria de Lesseps, seemingly high and rolling what looks like a joint.
I generally don’t snark about the underage kids, but if you want to see this here’s the link (Update: the link has been removed from YouTube)

Victoria was kicked out of school because of the video.

It’s a sad world when you can do despicable things to people and still are able to market products to consumers and your character not be affected. Ramona CLEARLY has a PROBLEM. I felt bad about her lying on the bed in Morrocco crying like a lunatic…now I understand and agree with whatever the fall-out was.
This is totally out of character for R. I think it was an accident like she said.
This is hardly out of character for Ramona. Ramona is RABID and she didn’t “accidentally” tweet this, she did it in order to hurt Luanne. What a LOW BLOW to use a minor child…………..can’t wait to see Ramona get her just desert, let’s hope she chokes on it.
Memo to Ramona, what goes around comes around. What she did is dispicable BUT point is it’s obvious the “countess” needs to get her daughter help and fast!

Why Ramona wants to embarrass LuAnn so badly is beside the point. Using LuAnn’s daughter’s behavior to do it only makes Ramona look bad, not LuAnn.
Completely agree w Katie. Ramona needed to be knocked the f*ck out way back in Season 1. Luann needs to take off her “Classy Countess” costume & throw on the “Countess Chola” one & go slam Ramona’s eyes straight for her retweeting this video. A true gfriend instantly picks up the phone & alerts you to the f*ed up video starring your kid on the web.
This kind of stuff finds a way of coming back to you threefold. Ramona better start praying that Avery never does anything wrong – ever. Not a good move. What on earth was she thinking?? I like Ramona. I think she’s fun. That said, I’m hoping that she hit retweet by accident. But I sincerely doubt it.

Ramona has always been a “snake”. Those who find her amusing with her “telling it like it is” schtick overlook a lot of the meanness she has thrown out there to her cast members over the last 3 seasons.
Picking on someone else’s child is despicable. We don’t need to know this.
Well at least their private schooling is paying off in some ways, so not all is lost.
