Rachel holds the HOH crown and her power looms over the heads of the newbies. Everyone is reasonably sure the vets are safe and this is making Keith very nervous. Thus far, his Keith’s Angels has been a complete flopperewski, with none of the women buying his I’m “all that” act. Porsche gets all freaky because she’s not certain their Golden Key is on or not. Rachel soothes her by petting her on the head, but the rest of the vet alliance feels Porsche may not be what she appears to be. Hmmm.
The POV competition is coming up, and Keith in his infinite wisdom has decided to throw the competition in order to get Porsche out. How this plan is going to work, is beyond me. The blonde isn’t the only worry he’s going to face. He runs around and announces his plot to the other newbs. Naturally, this gets back to the vets. Well, duh, none can keep their mouths shut forever. Everyone is vying to stay in the game.
Meanwhile, Evel Dick has left the building. He actually left after the HOH contest, but CBS isn’t giving any information as to why. Dani begins to worry that something is actually wrong with her dad. Still, BB leaves her twisting in the wind. Rachel is called into the DR. When she returns she reads a note that explains Dick has left for emergency reasons. So as not to punish Dani, she receives an automatic golden key. She’s not happy about the circumstances, considering they are now outnumbered by the newbs. In the HOH room, the group commiserates and Brendon has what can only be considered a near melt down. Someone call the whaaaambulance, please. Jeff is the only player who isn’t frightened by the Inmate Eight. He is convinced the vets still hold an advantage because they’ve all been here before and all are capable of winning challenges. Bring it on!
Keith takes Kalia to task, accusing her and Porsche of voting with the vets. Dom begins to have serious doubts about Keith, Adam is convinced the dude is losing his mind, and Lawon is just confused. Porsche is delighted her partner is agitated, as it bolsters her case to stay.
Rachel announces six will compete in the POV competition, including the HOH team, Keith and Porsche and Jordan and Jeff. How perfect is this? Porsche guarantees the vets she’s going to throw the comp and away we go!
Adam is hosting and brings such style to the whole ordeal with his heavy metal screams. The players come out in their Super Duo unitards and capes. Funny stuff. Tonight’s comp is a puzzle that is hanging on a skyscraper type wall. The guys will pass pieces to their partners who are hoisted on cables. Jordan is having trouble, big surprise there. Keith realizes he needs to slow down and begins to tell Porsche to place the pieces in the wrong slots. Clever guy. Finally, it’s Rachel and Brendon who land on top. Everyone is happy, but for different reasons. We’ll see who this works out for in the end.
Brenchel head back to HOH to congratulate themselves and are joined by Jeff. They discuss the possibility to change the nominations in order to feel out the remaining players. Brendon pops in on the newbies to let them know they’d better make up their minds as to whom they plan to support, dangling the notion the POV can be used on them this week. Kalia smiles and waves. She’s hoping to stay under the radar. Cassi and Shelly express their concerns that Brenchel would protect Jordan and Jeff over them. This doesn’t bode well for Cassi in Rachel’s eyes and she’s considering switching up and putting Cassi and Shelly up.
Rachel talks with Keith who guarantees he won’t backdoor them, although that’s precisely what he plans to do. The POV meeting commences and true to her word, Rachel refuses to switch the nominees. Keith doesn’t care, as he’s completely convinced he’s got the votes to rid the house of Porsche. The meeting is adjourned and Porsche calls Greyhound to order Keith a bus ticket outta there!
