Sonja Morgan is a cautionary tale for gold-diggers.
John Adams Morgan, 80, grandson of robber baron JP Morgan, is playing hardball with ex-wife Sonja Morgan of the Real Housewives of New York.Sonja,47, who has verbally mourned the demise of her marriage throughout Season 4 of the reality series, filed bankruptcy in November 2010.

Real Housewives of New York City star Sonja Morgan may be forced to vacate her luxe Upper East Side mansion.
The reality star, 47, tells The New York Post that her life has been “in limbo” while she and ex-husband John Adams Morgan fight over millions in court.
“I’m sure the world thinks, ‘Sonja doesn’t have to worry. She’s got that husband there for her,’” she says. “But I’m on my own.”
According to court documents filed by the Bravo star, Adams Morgan — a descendant of famed financier J.P. Morgan and former President John Adams — is refusing to pay Morgan a $3 million lump-sum divorce judgment along with $300,000 in back alimony.
Morgan also alleges that while her ex lives on his private, $19 million island off Stamford, Conn., she has been barred from selling or visiting their properties in Colorado and France.
As a result, Sonja says she may have to sell her $6 million Manhattan town house. (In November, Morgan filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection; she listed $19.8 million in debt and $13.5 million in assets in her bankruptcy petition.)
A lawyer for Adams Morgan says his client is appealing previous court rulings because he believes the divorce judge forced him to pay more than was agreed in pre- and post-nuptial agreements.

Did he really think she married him for love. Could have been a maternal feeling to care for him. But he is not a stupid man and knew what he was getting into. Now they both have a beauatiful young daughter and SHE better not be skimped on. Give Sonia AND her daughter their house and let him cry himself to sleep. She earned it. Even by keeping her daughter off the show, shows you she is a good mother. That may change, but mama tested the waters first.
She was a receptionist at a resturaunt in NYC befor she got marrie. Married a sugar daddy 33 yrs older & it caved in on her. She may have to get a Job, imagine that?
At his age, maybe he is figuring he has so many years left, so why not stick it to her for as long as he is still drawing breath.
That said, really this is all, “waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh”. Cry me a river you cannot sell or access your additional homes and that you might have to sell your luxurious Manhattan townhome. Cry me a frickin river. I reallly could not possibly care less if she ends up like Anna Nicole and never sees one red cent from the old geezer.

I agree! I didn’t realize he was that old. She deserves what she gets. What can they possibly have in common?
Are there any allegations he has not lived up to his child support obligations? And by child I mean his daughter, not his ex-wife.
