‘Housewife’ Peggy Tanous, who’s facing foreclosure on her Irvine house, is fighting that prospect in court.

Tanous’ home has been scheduled for a foreclosure auction, but that’s on hold while her lawsuit winds its way through a special program in Orange County Superior Court aimed at bringing borrowers having trouble getting loan modifications and their lenders together.

Tanous says in the suit she’s been having financial woes and deserves a loan modification, but her lenders aren’t honoring their agreement. She accuses them of conspiring to take the house.

She also says the foreclosing bank interfered with a payment schedule she worked out with the Orange County tax collector to pay her delinquent property taxes, which she says caused them to spike, at one point, by 400%.

The home, right, was purchased in 2006 for $1,379,000 from Lennar Homes of California, records show. BAC Home Loans Servicing is foreclosing on the first loan, showing that at $1 million and saying she now owes $1,318,253.

There’s also a second loan, at $312,540.

The lawsuit names as defendants BAC Home Loans Servicing, a subsidiary of Bank of America, the National Bank Association, Reconstrust Company, and “PNC Mortgage.”

PNC, holder of the 2nd loan, and not the foreclosing lender, filed a response saying it can’t figure out exactly what it’s being accused of in the suit. It also clarified that its name is PNC Bank, not PNC mortgage.

“Plaintiff [Tanous] does not allege any relationship between the defaulted loan that is the subject of this litigation and PNC,” the response says. “It is simply unintelligible what allegations are being asserted against PNC.”

I am willing to bet that the only real money on the RHOC is represented by Heather and Terry. The rest are all FAKES……

Maybe if she sells her Bentley and her husband’s Rolex she can make her mortgage payments.

I agree, I think that many of those women need a reality check, they like to live high off the hog, but when the money isn’t there, what are they going to do….do you really think that they could handle being a happy middle class woman….i don’t

Didn’t Peggy just throw a huge, expensive party? What is wrong with these people throwing parties instead of paying their mortgages?

I agree. Maybe these people need to get rid of their luxuries and see what they can afford. I used to live in Northern OC and I got out before I had to file bankruptcy myself. WHO cares about the Jones’s when your house is about to be taken from YOUR KIDS!!!!!!

Its really hard to feel sorry for Peggy and Alexis because of the way they spend their money. May Peggy should sell her Bentley and hold off on any plastic surgery until they get their finances in order.
