It’s official, the rumors we’ve been hearing for weeks, the Real Housewives of DC will not return for a second season. According to the Washington Post,
Bethesda-based Half Yard Productions contacted the cast to let them know Washington’s contribution to Bravo’s hot docu-soap franchise would not be picked up.
“We had an amazing season and we told stories that were unique to any other in the franchise. I wish all our DC Wives the best and hope to work with them again in another capacity,” Andy Cohen, Bravo’s executive vice president of original programming and development, said Thursday.
Too bad Bravo wasn’t willing to give tis franchise another chance. Add some diversity to the mix: women with something other than Botox and gold-digging on their minds. Many people would have like to see how Stacie Turner’s trip to Nigeria to meet her birth father went, what’s the status of Ebong Eka an Lynda Erkiletian’s relationship, how Cat Ommanney is doing with her book ( will she remain in the US?) . No nee to speculate about Michaele and Tariq Salahi, they will find a way to be in the news.
