In Episode 1 of the long awaited return of the Real Housewives of Orange County, arch-rivals Tamra Barney and Gretchen Rossi are still going after each other. Ever since Gretchen joined the cast in Season 4, the animosity between these two has been constant.
It all started long before Season 4 began with a post on an older blog of mine. After the story “Meet the Newest Orange County Housewife” was published , tons of comments about Gretchen were made . These comments can be found at More Absurdities, Reader’s Rant. Many of the comments pertain to Jeff Beitzel, Gretchen’s deceased fiancé, and the true relationship between them. Judy Fike, Jeff Beitzel’s sister, has her opinion, along with Jeff’s neighbors in Michigan and his children.
After the season began, Tamra received a phone call from Jay Photoglou, the man Gretchen was not so secretly dating. That’s when the proverbial shit hit the fan. The fact that Gretchen’s storyline was false enraged Tamra, inspiring her behavior on the episode “Naked Wasted”.
The Season 4 reunion was particularly ugly, followed by restraining orders and accusations that persist to this day.

I also read all the blogs on Gretchen. She seems like such a slut and desperate for fame and money. She got up some nerve to talk to Tamara like she did. And I loved it when Tamara said,”My boyfriends house”. Eat that Simon, you control freak!
Gretchen is a drunk jerk. She went to that party with the intention of starting trouble! She really needs to take her drunkness and go back to Minnesota or wherever she comes from. She is disgusting and I wish Bravo would drop this slut and her creepy boyfried “slime” already!! Nasty! What is it with Alexis this season? No more Jesus in her life? She’s now using the lord’s name in vain? Wow how fast we change. It’s only been six months wow!! i guess foreclosure changes a person. Hopefullly we won’t have to endure her pig of a husband this year. He’s a little slimy too! I only watch to see Tamara and Vicky!
