In this preview video of Bethenny Ever After, premiering February 28 on Bravo we  see some cute shots of Bryn, who is 9 months old now, must have been about 6 months old when the show was filming.  Max Meisel, Bethenny’s ex-assistant, will also appear briefly in some of the episodes.

In one scene, we hear Jason Hoppy, Bethenny’s husband, so to her “it’s always I and my”.  I’m sure this is a real-life problem. Bethenny took care of only herself for a very long time. Hopefully Jason can teach her not to be so self-involved, if possible.

She went to LA to do skating with the stars and that turned into nothing..

I think Bethenny is funny and she does have some good one-liners. But I find that I watch her for the same reason I watch any bad reality TV- its a train wreck that you just need to see what will happen next. As honest as she is, she looks so uncomfortable in her skin and it makes me feel uncomfortable watching her. I think her husband is a saint for putting up with her antics. The whole reason Bethenny has this show is because of him- if he hadn’t asked her to marry him or got her pregnant she would still just be another housewife. I dont wish anyone harm, but her career will (and is) eclipsing her marriage and now she is talking about baby #2 and wondering how she will balance it with her already crazy schedule? No one can have it all and keep up with it brilliantly- especially if she depends on TV fans to make her business a success.

I don’t think that Bethenny totally shuts out Jason’s parents. They stayed in their apartment on at least one or two episodes of “Bethenny Ever After”. She asked his mom to accompany her while shopping for her wedding dress, instead of asking a longtime girlfriend. His parents were around a lot when Bryn was born. As for his friends, she hosted that housewarming party when Jason was stuck at the airport in the middle of a snowstorm. She invited them to her bachelorette weekend in Atlantic City. She just says from time to time that she doesn’t like to have people around her too often, which I can understand. She and Jason have different personalities, but sometimes that’s why marriage works. As long as there is mutual respect and no abuse, the contrasts can help people click.

“Bethenny took care of only herself for a very long time. Hopefully Jason can teach her not to be so self-involved, if possible.” can we stop with all this now. I know you a fan, but if it were another housewife, you would have critize, but since it’s Bethenny no critic, come on…it’s not cute. I know alot of people who took care of themselves for a long time, and they are not selfish.BTW…who paid for all those private schools and other higher learning schools…i’m pretty sure it’s her parents, so she was not on her own.

I knew that marriage was a sham. Jason knew Bethenny was desperate and he wanted time on tv.I don’t get how someone say they want a private life, yet their wife is on tv peeing on a stick. I am questioning Bethenny’s childhood stories at this time, everyone questioned Cedric’s why not. If the marriage fail it’s all her falt. She does not know how to be warm and inviting, specially to her spouse’s parents…his parents and friends does not seem that much into her. She’s a famewhore and she loves the fact that we writing about her…bad or good.

I havent seen any clips of the show other than the promos that run on Bravo, but I’m already bored by Bethenny Ever After. It looks like a bunch of whining about how busy she is and clowning around, and not much else. Jason is nice but a bit bland. I always wonder how Bethenny managed to attract such a mild-mannered guy. He seems like the kind of guy she would have chewed up with those freakish jaws of hers and spit out a long time ago. I hope for his sake he gets another job again and doesn’t settle for being Mr. Bethenny Frankel. When her Skinny Girl crap isn’t selling as well anymore (though I’ve never seen it on a menu or in stores, personally) I could see Bethenny getting on Jason’s ass for not bringing in money,or at least berating him because he can’t make as much money as she can. If Bethenny can seem bitchy on camera, imagine what she must be like when the camera’s aren’t rolling….

Bryn is a cute little bugger.

After viewing a few of her show clips I see a huge conflict brewing with Bethenny.

Constant complaining, snide remarks, repeated references to “poop, farts, dogsh*t, penis” standing in as dialogue.

Her distancing herself and Jason from his parents by creating “boundaries” around their visits was disturbing. He is the sole surving son with one grandchild whose life they would like to be a part of and she is basically telling them to “back off” as they may have their own plans for the holidays that does not include them.

She gripes all the way to PA, gripes during the visit, and more than likely gripes all the way home. Nothing is ever good enough for our Bethenny and in all reality she sounds a lot like Jill.

Who wants to spend countless hours watching her put everyone and everything down as she claws her way to “fame”. Not sure if Jason quit his job to accompany her on her quest but it looks like he may be nothing more than a glorified babysitter whose own needs are dashed by this whining mess. The show may want to change its title to “Bethenny Wants It All”. She may be losing a lot of fans with this one.
