The photo is from a book signing last summer in the Hamptons. Jill Zarin continues to lack self-awareness when it comes to her behavior on television. She and Ginger, along with daughter Ally, appeared on “It’s Me or the Dog” last week. Read what the New York Times had to say:
Who’s the real master? Jill Zarin and her Chihuahua, Ginger, on “It’s Me or the Dog.” Ginger, the Chihuahua in Saturday’s “Me or the Dog,” is unbearable because her owner, an Upper East Side caricature (and “Real Housewives of New York” alum) named Jill Zarin, has lost the ability to distinguish normal human-dog interactions from abnormal. (The episode becomes unwatchable about the fourth time Ginger is allowed to stick her doggie tongue up Ms. Zarin’s nostrils.)
Contrast Ginger Zarin’s behavior with that of @giggythepom, Lisa Vanderpump’s dog on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Yes, there are differences in the two breeds, but are there also profound differences in the owners? Hmmmm….
The Real Housewives of New York City premieres Season 4 Tuesday, February 15.
