This appearance must have been arranged by that Florida politician, Charlie Crist, who stayed with Jill Zarin in the Hamptons last summer as he raised funds. Anyway, the Smoking Gun has picked up the story.
What could Jill Zarin possibly have to say that was worth $15.00, let alone $15,000. A public university using it’s resources for to pay her? All kinds of arm squeezing and ugliness has to be part of this.

We’re not sure what’s more troubling: That a public university pays “Real Housewife” Jill Zarin $15,000 to address collegians, or that she is referred to as “artist” in her appearance contract.
The “Real Housewives of New York” cast member appeared before a tiny crowd last month at the University of South Florida to talk about who knows what and sign copies of her book “Secrets of a Jewish Mother” (currently Amazon ranking: 284,686). Zarin’s appearance contract, excerpted above, guaranteed her the 15 grand, accommodations in a hotel suite, and a $100 per diem. Airfare for the 46-year-old Zarin (whose corporate alter ego is “JBZ Enterprises, LLC”) was also covered by the school.

She’s fabulous and deserves every penny. Clearly she has something to speak about. She and her husband are succrsful business owners as well as real estate investors. She must be doing something right she can support her lifestyle. Stop hating she gave Bethenny a big hand up and when things turned for “B” she dumped Jill it’s that simple.
OK Stop hating on JZ, IT’S OVER…The woman looks like the type who always had connection. So what she got $15,000 for speaking arrangements, it means others need to step up their game…Don’t hate.
i agree with you Jen. The third season is over, and Jill has always had connections and been the way she is . Even if you dont think she should be paid 15,000. wouldnt you want to be paid 15 K to talk to people about the things you have learned over the years. Just because she is on a reality show and you do not really see her talking about wordly or important info doesnt mean she is not capable. she did go to college and has had quite a bit of experience in her 46 years
