Parody has hit “The Real Housewives” franchise.
This Monday from 9-11 p.m., NBC is airing a special, “The Women of Saturday Night Live.” Current and former cast members of the long-running, late-night comedy show will perform in a skit where they’re posing as “Real Housewives” gathering for a reunion episode.
It’s not exactly clear who will be whom, but the “SNL” actresses will be Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, Tina Fey, Ana Gasteyer, Rachel Dratch, Cheri Oteri and Kristen Wiig. Andy Cohen, , Bravo’s senior vice president of production and programming and host of the reunion specials, will play himself.
The set will be similar to the season one reunion of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” and the one-shoulder dresses will be out in force, according to pictures on NBC’s media website. Other photos depict the “Housewives” clutching individual microphones, possibly singing a song, and of course, arguing with each other.
