Ramona Singer of the Real Housewives of New York City must be off the Pinot Grigio. This story is making the rounds:
Only weeks in to taping the fourth season of The Real Housewives of New York City and violence has erupted on set! But this time the altercation has nothing to do with famous frenemies Jill Zarin and Bethenny Frankel!
“During filming, Ramona [Singer] slapped one of the producers from Shed Media, the company that produces the reality show,” an insider tells Life & Style exclusively. “It got very out of hand. What a way to start off the season, huh!”
“Ramona has been acting out physically and emotionally,” a second source tells Life & Style. “Her acting out wasn’t a story line for the show. It’s crazy; everyone involved in the show has been talking about it.
Update: Ramona apparently felt crowded, pushed and stressed over production demands.
Last week, Singer, 53, reportedly hit a producer while filming in her NYC apartment according to UsWeekly “She was furious and felt like the producers were ganging up on her,” an insider told the magazine. “She got herself worked up over filming this scene and one thing led to another, and she punched the producer. Literally.” However, things seem to have died down since the news broke yesterday. The source added that it is back to “business as usual” for the women and that production is in full swing.
Get a grip Ramona. “Renew” those hormones! Some women need help to get through menopause, before you kill someone! In other Ramona news, she has confirmed the inclusion of Cindy Barshop as the new cast member. Season 4 is shaping up to be a real Ramonacoaster. Let’s hope she doesn’t have too much interaction with Kelly Bensimon.

I thought violence was okay w/ Bravo. Teresa shoves Andy and he laughs and grins like an idiot. Danielle claims to have armed bodyguards at meetings, Bravo producers didn’t call off the meeting or check the thugs for weapons: Ramona slaps a producer,-eh, all in a day’s work. Andy Cohen is just laying the foundation for Kelly BeenSomeone’s homocide (or suicde), whichever will garner higher ratings.
I am curious about this story. Why was no assault report filed? Would just allow some crazy woman hurt you at work? I wouldn’t. It hasn’t been acknowledged by Shed Media or Ramona either. It’s just so strange, perhaps it was turtle time or the slap didn’t happen? She was on Watch What Happens and seemed really calm, and was funny and bright.
