Often the personalities surrounding the Real Housewives are more interesting than the women. Case in point: New housewife and entertainment attorney Phaedra Parks‘ husband Apollo Nida. a career criminal, having spent 6 of the last 12 years in federal prison, on two unrelated crimes.
Is Phaedra one of those women who thinks she can rehabilitate a man? Not knocking her, I was once one of those women. It a’int happening, that I know.

I’m astonished that someone who graduated from law school could be so profoundly ignorant, ill spoken and down right stupid. I can not imagine anyone(much less a celeb who has money enough to hire the best legal talent)hiring her to represent them in any legal endeavors!

I liked her and the ex convict at first… but the lying oh my goodness. Lying is bad enough but when you look deeper into why it gets twisted. She’s done the Tiny Toya show so she clearly wants to be in the spotlight. She also clearly wanted a storyline focused on her. So she preys on Apollo to marry her for God knows what deal, and induces birth early, all for the show?!? Then as a “Christian” introduces some of the most sexually explicit comments said by any castmate, and on tv no less(the self pleasing stripper and swallowing???). QUESTION FOR PHAEDRA: If Kim will go to hell for sleeping with a married man, what will your prize be on judgement day for fornication, lying, swearing and perverse sexual talk? Just asking…

My issue with Phaedra is the “I’m-better-than-you” attitude she tends to exude upon EVERYONE she comes in contact with–this includes her husband, Apollo! Just by her being a woman, we all know that she knew how many weeks pregnant she was. For her to have the book sense it took for her to become a lawyer, it’s assinine of her to expect ANYONE to believe that dribble she was spewing regarding her doctors’ theories on due dates, etc. She treats Apollo with total disdain and disrepect, letting him know his opinion counts for nothing! Phaedra is still young enough and, let’s hope, wise enough to realize she has even more to learn: most people who have money don’t talk about it or the amount that they spend on things; if you possess a certain quality, it will speak for itself, there’s no need for you to constantly insert the title/adjective in the conversation–i.e., “I’m a ‘Southern Belle’”; think twice, but speak once–because the TRUTH will not change. (As in “we met in college”!) I was rooting for her when the season first started but she lies and contradicts herself so much that I realize there is not one likeable “housewife” on the show! My friends and I have decided to stop watching.
