The Real Housewives of DC post to their Bravo blogs late. Here is an excerpt from Lynda Erkiletian‘s blog about the catfight between Cat Ommanney and Erika Hughes- Martin at Stacie Turner’s “Ice Cream Social”.

Who could have ever predicted that an ice cream social with children present could turn into an all out “cat” fight? Erika, Erika, Erika…you embarrassed your friend and our host, and hurt and humiliated Cat in front of everyone including the children who were within earshot. Even to this day, when I think back to that evening, I am so disturbed by your behavior. As an agent representing you as a commercial print model, I saw a side of you that night that I had never seen before and never want to see again. You were so relentless that even after Cat gathered her girls to leave, you persisted and made it a point to come into the foyer and continue to badger her in front of her children. My last words to Erika that night were, “You need to get on your hands and knees tonight and pray for forgiveness.” I guess we could all use a little forgiveness along the way. As my grandmother always said, “Pretty is as pretty does.” There’s nothing pretty about being a mean girl.
Whoo..check out the thinly veiled threat. Rumor has it Erika was upset about Cat’s inclusion on the show,because the producers went with Cat instead of her. Cat’s soon to be ex-husband , Charles (they broke up during production) as a White House photographer, had access to power. That probably explains the sour look on Erika’s face whenever she appears!
BTW, the Erika superfan with the nasty comments on my blog: Do you realize that more people are interested in Erika because of my post about her? All publicity is good publicity, right? That’s what Kelly Bensimon says!

Good job Erica…for telling the truth. Honestly, she could have been a little more truthful. Kat, like the true lame decided to be the victim that she truly is. I wouldn’t even care to be around those people, they are no true representation of Washington,DC and they show flop. By far the worse housewives ever, Thanks to the group of lames they had on the show…what a joke.
I’m sooo late but I loved Erika for dishing it out to Kat. Kat can dish it but she can’t take it! Go Erika. Stay strong. Ignore the hate.
Yes, it was hard to watch. And.. did Erika say to Cat “don’t give me any body language”? Did I hear that correctly? WOW. What a patronizing thing to say to another adult. A real bully. I hope we don’t see her again.
Bravo Lynda, good for you calling out Erika on her disgusting behavior. I wish everyone had the balls to call out the mean girls ANDY COHEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think Bravo may have seen the true Erica and even though she thought she had the gig, she said or did something like this torpedoing her chance at Housewife Fame. Erica Erica Erica, hopefully you don’t get anymore airtime! What an ugly,ugly,ugly woman.
Thanks for reposting Lynda’s take on the incident between Cat and Erika. It made me so uncomfortable to watch it on tv, I cannot imagine how creepy it felt being there. Erika was so rude and obnoxious that night, and she obviously has anger issues. You can just see it in her eyes and demeanor. She is a mean girl! Thanks, Lynda, for always keeping it real and classy.
