Episode 7 Sneak Peek
We are all hypocrites in one way or another. But Stacie Turner always seems quite measured and controlled in speech and action. She has seemed totally aware of the cameras and the impression she makes on Real Housewives of DC.
She comes out against gay marriage quite strongly in this video clip, citing religious reasons. Surprising not only because of her measured manner and demeanor, but also because of the business she’s in. Not to mention the lack of political correctness involved.
It seems they are having a lively discussion, I’ll look forward to how Paul Wharton, DC’s resident gay and 6th Housewife, responds to this.

I think I love you William. So well said! I came to comment, and couldn’t hardly even gather my thoughts after watching that video, but you said it all!
Shame on her, to ignore what essentially allowed her to exist! The issue of blacks and whites being allowed to marry was a big one, and the fact that her mother abandoned her because the fear of being outcast was so strong, should resonate with her that blacks/whites, gays/straights, and rich/poor people should be allowed to live free from fear and oppression!
We really need to think back on our founding fathers’ desires to separate Church and State! How it is anyone’s business whom I chose to lay down with at night, is beyond my understanding! We all learned that women should be allowed to (gasp!) vote, and go for any career they desire, and we also learned (gasp!) that maybe African Americans shouldn’t really be slaves, and that (shocker!) anyone should be allowed to marry excluding their race or religion, but damn those homosexuals! Creeping in since the days of old (Hell, even the ancient Greek were homosexuals), because they mentioned it somewhere in passing in the Bible, we should OUTLAW it! I mean to hell with Coveting another’s wife, Taking the Lord’s name in vain, Lying, Cheating, Stealing, Not obeying your mother and father… those (most important?) laws can be broken, but we need legislature and Congress to RULE on this horrible Gay Rights issue and end it once and for all! For surely, that will rid this world of gays so they can’t rape the little children and spread their contagious disease!
Cancel this show immediately, if only for the existence of anti-gay Stacie Turner, the bastard “love” child of a white mother and Nigerian father who, likely faced such discrimination from church-goin’ folk they were forced to give their child up for adoption. How ironic that someone so damaged by that situation is so eager to impose discrimination on others. And remember that bible that was oh so recently used to justify slavery of your husband’s ancestors? funny how you and your husband supposedly now cherry pick it to justify your discrimination of gays&lesbians. Stacie needs to go or this show will die a quick death.
