This report is from Perez Hilton, he added his own sarcasm and humor to it. But it looks like the US Attorney will challenge the Giudice bankruptcy filing because of unreported income and assets. I agree with Perez, you can’t hide from Uncle Sam! If you recall, Teresa claimed all income from “Skinny Italian” was generated after the bankruptcy filing. Seems that may not be quite true.
Things just went from bad to worse for Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa Giudice and husband Joe.
US Trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis is petitioning their bankruptcy, claiming there are many “falsehoods” in their filing.
For instance, Teresa is accused of hiding a $250,000 advance for her cookbook Skinny Italian just one week before filing for bankruptcy!
The complaint also addresses Joe’s “omissions” such as a “bank account, two pieces of real property, and vehicles” as well as accusing the couple of presenting false income tax returns to the bankruptcy court!

Regarding Teresa and Joe’s bankruptcy filing, I think it proves how dumb they were to ever go on that show. Maybe some small business owners do hide money and do illegal things, but you have to be an idiot to go on a reality show and flaunt your fake wealth like that.

I have worked hard all my life to buy the things I needed and wanted and was raised if you did have credit cards you did not charge what you could not pay back. The credit card companies hate people like my family that pay there balances off each month and do not carry over debt for another month unless it is an absolute emergency. I, like many others in this country have gone without something I thought I wanted so that the bills could be paid and I did not have to worry about if my lights or gas was to be shut off or that I would have my things thrown on the street because I missed a mortgage payment.
Also being a business owner I can tell you first hand the affect that theft has on the rise in insurance premiums, having to hire more security, etc…, and UN-fortunately those cost’s associated with theft have to be passed down to the consumers.
And finally what ever happened to passing on to our children the meaning of PRIVATE PROPERTY and that stealing, in any form, is against the laws of the creator and man.
This is not related to Teresa, but it is relevant to the RHNJ. My husband and I left Legal Seafoods in the Short Hills, NJ Mall less than an hour ago. I was completely oblivious, until my husband grabbed my elbow and whispered, “Look, look!” Lo and behold, I saw Danielle Staub’s daughter Jillian jump into a car outside of Neiman Marcus. She looked like she didn’t want to be recognized, poor kid. I then saw Danielle and Christina. They were speaking to store employees and security people. They seemed very nice, to be honest. I made eye contact with Danielle, who was just a few feet away from me. I told her, “Your daughters are beautiful!” She said, “They’re good kids.” I then said, “So are you!” She beamed. I know lots of people think she’s nuts. She looked very good in person. She had an amazing body. She was dressed in a somewhat conservative, form-fitting outfit of nice jeans, heels, and a white long-sleeved, crew-necked top. She’s got a great bod. Christina is veerrry pretty, too. Jillian looked cute and had some sort of rhinestone clip in her hair. I didn’t get a good look at her, because she was quick to escape the public. (I probably can’t blame her. I can only imagine that some people are nasty to them.) Anyway, I was never a huge Danielle fan, but I am definitely no fan of Teresa’s or the other self-righteous shrews on that show. I just thought I’d report this sighting. Danielle seems to have a good relationship with her kids, and treated the others at the mall and me with respect, so I have to giver her that.

I dont know who you hang out with but the people I know do NOT hide their assets from bankruptcy court. It is illegal and apparently you think that lying and stealing from people is okay.
Yes, some of the businesses and creditors have insurance for these types of things but these losses that the insurance company pays ends up costing the other innocent people in higher rates. Utility costs go up for the others who get services, credit card rates and fees go up for honest credit card holders, people are turned away from getting assistance from fertility clinic because the clinic had to eat the bills from Teresa and Joe, And the bankruptcy courts time and employee costs come from HONEST taxpayers. Apparently you believe this is okay though.
Teresa has flaunted her so called rich lifestyle all over the place and on tv and she and Joe deserve to go to jail for fraud.
People like you who think it’s okay to lie and cheat to get forward in life should make sure that you cross all your T’s and dot all your I’s on your tax forms and your insurance claims cause one day it will be you who is investigated. Cheating is not okay. Not even if you say it is. I hope you remember your words when you are cheated out of something because you think that because some people do it, that it is okay.

Teresa not only maxed out her numerous credit cards on shopping she also bought things she had no right buying because she knew she was not going to be able to pay for it. Joe didn’t get into this mess by himself. We saw on tv Teresa spent over 100,000.00 in cash on furniture in one stop on her shopping spree. Wonder where that cash came from?

Also, because Teresa has consitantly ‘poo poo’ed’ at homes that were previously lived in, and thinks other peoples homes are ‘uncleansly’ she, herself has asked for this backlash from the people who watch the show along with the people from her home town who she disses all the time.
Teresa herself, chose to flaunt her lifestyle to the world so now that she is getting a backlash from the people who used to be her fans, is her own fault.
Their debt does have a bearing on every single person that is complaining about their fraudulant activities. And also not all the businesses that they defrauded out of money do not have insurance like the fertility clinic. If they have to eat that bill the next time a patient comes in and needs assistance with their infertility bills, they will be turned away.
So your dead wrong and God help the people that you know in your life.

We all do have a life, and this show is our guilty pleasure. Every single person has watched Teresa dig her own ditch and build her jail cell. Now they need to spend time ther for their CRIMINAL ACTS.

Everyone hides assets while filing bankruptcy. Everyone! The only people hurting here is Teresa & Joe. Creditors have insurance for this very reason. People falling on hard times. No one goes broke on purpose. Pretending these people did something horrible to themselves is the most ridiculous load of BS I’ve ever read. Furthermore, 100k in shopping is far from the 11 mill in debt. So sick of hearing Teresa’s shopping caused this.
As far as the book goes. She didn’t write that book alone she had a co-author. So, was the advance hers? I also heard Bravo got a cut of the book? There was a lot of controversy over Teresa having to give Bravo a cut, yet Bethenny owned all rights to her books. Again, even if she got a 250k advance, was it hers? Finally! I mean, unless she “wrote”, edited and released that book in the span of a couple of weeks, there is no way that advance should have been exempt from the bankruptcy. You know they’re lying and hiding assets (including for the auction) left and right. Those bastards need to be in jail.
