Kelly Bensimon, the psycho gummy bear eating twit of the New York crew, weighed in on Bethenny’s departure:
Yesterday afternoon, Bethenny Frankel, 39, announced that she wouldn’t be returning to Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York after three seasons. Eventually, the news got to her ultimate enemy, THE Kelly Bensimon. And in true Kelly fashion, she had a little message for Bethenny:
“Congratulations? I wish you well?”
Ah, I love a good passive aggressive question mark at the end of a statement.

Kelly, 42, who fought with Bethenny all season long, has been rumored to be leaving the show/only working part-time. She cleared up those rumors, saying:
“I was just asked to come back and we haven’t negotiated everything yet,” she clarified. “But I can answer honestly I would either come back or I wouldn’t come back — we don’t do part-time.”
So Kelly doesn’t do part time, or Bravo doesn’t do part time? I’ve gotta admit, I was hoping for a snarky comment from good ol’ Bensimon. Now that Bethenny has some time to spare, maybe she can take a trip back to Scary Island.

Imagine how happy Jill Zarin must be! Only one problem: they don’t have much of a show without Bethenny. She was the heart and soul of that show. Imagine “Sex in the City” without Sarah Jessica Parker. Why? Because Bethenny was the only truly honest one. Alex and Simon were all about the social climbing, Ramona has an occasional burst of batshit crazy, but not enough to carry the show, Jill Zarin is too full of jealousy, malice and hate to be interesting, a true ratings killer, and her family is downright annoying. Kelly Bensimon is too psychotic to be on any show, she should be put away without benefit of keys. That leaves Sonja Morgan to liven things up. Don’t know if she can pull it off. Oh, and LuAnn de Lesseps, so unimportant I forgot her.
Be careful what you wish for, ladies….

Funny reading this now, because it proved to be true. RHNY is on the fast track to cancelation without Bethenny. And to all of you that hated on Bethenny, who’s laughing now? Besides having Bravo under her finger she’s swimming in the money now thanks to her skinny girl drink. Hands down the most successful story to come out of Reality tv. Can you just imagine how jealous Zarin must be? Oh id love to see the look on her face.
Yes, Bethenny actually toned down her nastiness a bunch of notches, hence the success.
Absurd, I spoke to my out of state relatives recently and realhousewives came up. lol! They aren’t on twitter. They don’t watch B’s show, find her to be way too arrogant. They do however love all the hw shows. Its funny how people outside of twitter perceive the characters. They felt B was an opprutunist that used Jill. felt the show was edited for Bethenny because she’s so whiney. Some said bravo probably knew she’d quit both shows if she wasn’t made to look good. I have to agree with the opprutunist statement. Jill isn’t a saint. But Bethenny was quick to say I’m done, even knowing Jill helped her get on the show. I’ve seen through swts as well, graditude isn’t her strong suit. blame is
I disagree. Bethenny is not needed to point out the obvious. It may be more fun watching viewers crack their own jokes than quoting Bethenny. I think! Besides, I think I’ve heard all Bethenny’s jokes, more than once. I have to say- a lot of viewers adore Bethenny’s humor, I was one of them. After watching BGM and SWTS, for me, she crossed the funny line into disrespectful, egocentric, loud, hurtful and a little homophobic. P.s I don’t think any 39 year old that blames everyone else for their imperfections is honest. At least not with themselves. If I were b I would hold onto rhony. Those shows are more popular than hers. People enjoy variety of crazy. I would also like to add, I don’t think its an accident that Bethenny doesn’t get along with very many people outside of fans. I feel like she only tries to get along with A listers. Something just isn’t right.
