All Except Jennifer Gilbert Asked to Return to Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny Frankel filming Season 2 of Bethenny Getting Married
Six out of seven cast members of the ‘Real Housewives of New York’ have been asked back for a fourth season, an insider tells the Daily News.
Warning: This is from Gatecrasher, where Jill Zarin has an inside source. This has her grubby little hands all over it ,since the article states Alex McCord was “even asked back.” There was no indication from anyone that Alex would not be asked back, except the rumors Zarin obsessively spread. At the end of season 3, Jill Zarin transferred her overt hatred from Bethenny Frankel to Alex. Take it with a grain of salt.
Fans of the Real Housewives of New York will have something to celebrate Tuesday night. A show insider confirmed to us yesterday that six of the seven main characters were asked back for season four of the reality show after months of keeping them on the edges of their Pilates-toned seats. Bravo is even bringing back Alex McCord, whom the cable network was close to cutting last spring, and sexy Sonja Morgan, who was a new addition to the cast on season three.
Not rejoining Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, and LuAnn de Lesseps (if all the ladies accept their offers, that is) will be Bethenny Frankel, who is taping a second season of her spinoff, “Bethenny Getting Married?” for the same network. No word yet if Jennifer Gilbert, an occasional housewife, will be taking the screen again, but apparently we hear Bravo has been showing interest in a “wealthy Hamptons housewife.”

I’m shocked after Amazongate, which was a huge embarrassment for Jill, that she’s still on the show. She flat out lied, she tried and failed to manipulate one of the best reviewers on Amazon and then had the nerve to attack and threaten the woman when she told the truth about what Jill did. Jill is truly horrible and will spend the season trying to sabotage Alex and malign Simon. Her evil rickety kid has turned out to be as dreadful as Jill and acts out at her momster’s request. Who makes a spoiled kid lash out at adults, that’s a good parent? It’s not surprising considering what a crapfest her book was that her kids a nasty piece of work too, Jill is a horrible mother. I am so disappointed that Bravo kept a liar, manipulator and character assassin on the payroll, it gives fame to an unworthy person. I think that Wamsutta dumped Jill as a spokesman too. She’s shown her true colors and an association with any company will only hurt them, not sell products. Kodak kicked her to the curb as well I believe. I couldn’t be happier she’s NOT rolling in the dough. I am really disappointed Jill I back.
Ms. Gilbert adds absolutely nothing to this program. Ms. Zarin drags the show down with her toxic spewing. Her shrill fishwife voice and empty threats are appalling. Seriously Bravo, dump her. If Zarin comes back, I won’t be watching and I suspect there are many others that feel the same. RHONY used to be fun and light-hearted but has turned into a middle-aged version of “Mean Girls.” Killoreen-Bensimon is a loon that needs to be let go as well. Bravo is irresponsible to allow a mentally ill person to continue. Now that I think about it, maybe I won’t watch at all.
Another season of the 3 wicked witches, Jill/Kelly/LuLu. Gross. I’ll fast forward to the scenes that only contain Ramona, Silex, and Sonya. I’m only interested in kind caring people. Those who are kind to the cruel people are cruel to the kind people; so silence only perpetuates the problem.
