In another of those “reality ain’t real” moments, Tareq and Michaele Salahi do not own Oasis Winery, seen on the Real Housewives of Washington DC. It is owned by Tareq’s parents, and is currently undergoing bankruptcy proceedings.
White House party crasher Tareq Salahi had a run-in with police just a few weeks ago — after his own mother called the cops, claiming he was trespassing at the family winery.
According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, it all went down at the Oasis Winery in Virginia — a place Tareq’s parents founded back in 1977. Tareq and his parents have been at war over Oasis for years, because his parents claim Tareq ran the winery into the ground and then tried to interfere with the sale of the property.
But on July 27th — Tareq’s mom called the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office in Virginia and reported that her son was trespassing on the property … and was “changing the locks on the doors to the winery, and possibly removing items from the building.”
Once police arrived, Tareq — who now stars on “The Real Housewives of Washington D.C.” — advised the officers that he still has an apartment located above the winery and should be allowed to enter his residence.
Cops determined that Tareq was right … and he was allowed to enter the apartment. The situation ended without further incident.
As for the winery — Tareq’s mother told police it’s still involved in bankruptcy proceedings.

I thought his mom was acting a little crazy? Trying to sell property promised to her sons while her husband is sick and has dementia? I think there is more to the story on these allegations…
Does anyone else find it interesting that the real housewives franchise attracts these criminals, like the Gudices and Salahi’s? It’s like they have no shame, they must know their financial information will come out and yet they go right ahead and try to steal, cheat and lie while on national TV, it’s like narcissism gone mad or something. It doesn’t surprise me that Tareq is stealing anything not nailed down, he’s already take 3 mil from his family, what’s a few more items and bottles of wine? Dear God, they are all so vile.

It’s items like this that Andy & ANY interviewer needs to shove in the faces of the clown of all the RHW franchises but NEVER do. Ugh…so frustrating! Andy never called Jill out on her Amazongate fiasco & I’m willing to bet my left ovary no one will call this dried-up beef jerky Slim Jim (Michaele) out on this crap either. That’s one of the many reasons I could never be on a show like this: I’d walk, no, run over to the trick’s house w police report & camera crew in hand & say, “Skip the Pinot Grigio, bitch & serve me up the truth instead.”
