Seems DC housewife Cat Ommanney has a past to rival Danielle Staub. Cat divorced her husband and moved with their two children to the States to marry a fellow Brit who’s a White House photographer, as we heard over and over on the premiere episode of The Real Housewives of Washington DC.
Since production wrapped, everything has changed. On June 18th the New York Times reported Catherine and Charles Ommanney have split, the house the Ommanney’s rented is shuttered and Catherine’s daughters have been “shipped back to England to live with their father”.

Has a Uk criminal record for theft. Use to be a “Hostess” in a lap dance club in London ,Where she was happy to enjoy cocaine fueled parties. I doubt very much she notified the US immigration service of her Police record when she applied for her visa. She has made a bad name for herself in London by stealing from her “friends” and been extremely “Artistic” with the truth when it come to what she has been doing in life. She is from a normal middle class family . Charles Ommanney had better be ready to find out when she cheats on him. She cheated her first husband (steve) in her search for a bigger and better life.
Bravo should have done a Little research before they took her word . She is a complete Scam artist.

The one who told the tabloids she had a romp with Prince Harry back in 2006 so she could make some money to support her cocaine and booze habit? I doubt very much she told Bravo and Half Yard Productions that she doesn’t even have a working visa in the U.S. As per usual, she thinks she can get away with her lies! But you can’t Cat!!! She doesn’t even have a proper visa to work in the U.S. So how can she be “working” on American TV? she has lied to Bravo and the U.S. Immigration by failing to disclose her criminal past. She’s a cocaine user and a drunk and cheats on her husband every chance she gets. Charles should ask around D.C. and the U.K. and it wont take long to figure it out. She uses people for money and connections in her quest for attention and fame. She cheated on Steve and is doing it again. She has quite a reputation in Spain as well. Your correct about her adding security by getting pregnant. Cathy uses her daughters like fashion items. Her ex in laws would their Grand children never to see Cathy again.

He needs to get in contact with the Daily Mail etc and show the world that Cathy is nothing more than a Liar. Well if her husband thinks that rural America is bad, I suggest he take a good look at even the wealthy members of society in England horrific dental issues, it appears that 99% of the population may be inbred – I’ve been in rural America and rural England believe me when I say our hillbillies are far better looking than even the most esteemed members of British society. It’s probably not a good idea to slam people when you are essentially a guest here, Bucky.
I think Bravo picks people like this for interesting TV, because how many of us would want to follow the lives of real housewives, soccer mom’s with bob haircuts? No one wants to see the mundane and Bravo and Andy Cohen pick these people because they are controversial, because they live above their means, because they are in some form white collar criminals who have more than most because they don’t play by the rules. It’s all about viewer driven TV, and that is something that Bravo pretty much invented – we are responsible in a very active way with what Bravo produces, a strange reflection on all of us as a group I suppose.
I think this is one of my favorite blogs, you really do a great job with this site and thank you for the hard work you put into it. Great job on the new design layout too!
I don’t understand why people keep bringing up the visa. Obviously Bravo is not going to risk getting themselves in trouble by allowing her to work without a proper visa. Also her husband works for THE PRESIDENT. A person would need a lot less connections then what her husband has to get a visa that someone else in the same situation might not be able to get.
She has a past – so what.

I wrote the below before reading the latest on Ommanney’s split and I am still unsure if Mr. Ommanney remains as a White House photographer? However, he is no less guilty of his apparent disgust of the U.S. and we Americans (his comments on the show) than his wife. It is sad as I did not know how the British viewed Americans.
Re: Cat Ommanney – To know that this woman’s husband works with the leaders of our country – whether Bush or Obama – and they therefore enjoy a comfortable lifestyle from the renumeration he receives – is absolutely idiotic. It is not only her obvious, blatant comments about Americans that are unacceptable – she/they infect their children with the same mentality – which in their eyes i am sure is quite pleasurable to do to small children. Her husband is no better – you can so blatantly see told in his comment about driving back from Memphis and he couldn’t keep count of how many banjo pickers he had seen along the way. This man needs to be fired by our President (which I too was a Bush supporter)and return with his nasty brood to the “mother country”. It is inconceivable – when their are so many other amazing American photographers that could be on our taxpayers payroll – that this man receives one penny from the America of which he and his wife speak so ill. In politics where it is necessary to “do business” with those whom you dislike and dislike you – a photographer on the taxpayer’s dime – is not one of those necessary evils that must be endured. It is simply unacceptable.

I think Bravo does a splendid job of vetting their “cast” The more controversial, the better. I have lost so much respect for this network, nothing about them fazes me anymore.
