Danielle Staub’s past has come back to haunt her and now the police are involved.
Danny Aguilar, a convicted felon who was once charged as Staub’s co-defendant, called the Real Housewives of New Jersey star on Sunday night demanding $100,000 he says she still owes him for bailing her out years ago with some big time drug dealers.
Aguilar told RadarOnline.com “My money got her out of trouble with these drug dealers. They wanted her dead and I didn’t want them to kill her. I paid for it. We all got popped, everyone went to jail and she snitched.”
Staub was arrested in Miami in 1986 along with Aguilar for extortion and intent to distribute cocaine. Staub entered into a plea bargain with prosecutors and agreed to testify against Aguilar and others in exchange for five years probation and mandatory cocaine testing. Aguliar went to prison.
Aguilar told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview that his conversation with Staub on Sunday night quickly turned ugly, with Staub calling Aguilar a “celebrity stalker.” She threatened to sue him for defamation of character. Aguilar says he told Staub “I’m the ‘Real McCoy, I’m the one that did 15 years in a federal penitentiary over you. I’m no stalker.”
Staub contacted police, RadarOnline.com learned. And 15 minutes after they hung up the phone, Aguilar claims a detective from the Wayne, NJ police department called him and told him stalking is a crime in New Jersey.
We spoke with Captain James Clark from the Wayne Police Department who confirmed that Staub was at the station this morning but would not disclose additional information, saying the matter is still under investigation
A rep for Staub says she has not spoken with Danielle about the incident and had no comment at this time

BTW I agree..they definately need to add some new housewives…Season 2 has proved to be VERY boring…do any of us really care about crazy nutjob Danielle!

AGH. NJ is fake and trashy. I feel so bad for Danielle’s kids. They seem sweet. I hope they cancel this franchise. All of these women are broke and pretending to be something they are not. The ladies on NYC are worth watching. They are who they say they are.
Why would Daniel A bond Danielle out, but not himself, was his bond denied. So Danielle’s bond was $1million, because in order to be bonded out you need 10%. I would do the same thing if i were Danielle, i would snitch and take the deal. Obviously Daniel A was on the bottom of the Mafia’s totem pole, because Ms. Staub was not scared to talk.
My personal thought on the the RHONJ is that there is really is not much of a story line, not to mention the worst casting of all of the housewives-just one big dramatic family against one, that took a table turning episode to make people kinda tune in and weekly tolerate a show of no substance. It uses stupid, usless tirads to fill the void or what is lacking in each episode, While, the ongoing, redundant fights have caused viewers to become CURIOUS, i absolutely hope that producers dont equate that with ratings. i don’t know how to exactly articulate it, but its seems as the New Jersey franchise is a total disaster wack job with absolutely no and i say again substance, storyline. Guess I articualted that from the heart LOL! Ok seriosuly, the breakdown of the cast is a follows:
—Danielle- an overly hyper-focused, narcisstic,botoxed woman that has a past (but dont we all- maybe not as severe- hopefully- but that IS the past)-but what bothers me as a mother and housewife is the humiliation, embarrasment, as well as long-term effects it will have on her daughters) my girls are about her daughter’s age and they get embarrassed over the most stupid things- so i look at her girl’s dealing with REAL things- school, self esteem-their peers- my gosh there classmates know who they are, who their mother is or (if do to editing) how their mother is protrayed- can’t imagine me being them at their age in that situation! anyway, you can see it hurts them to see their mother like that- a stockerish drama fighting- fame grabbing entertaining singer with a now released sex tape- my gosh can u imagine that age- feel so bad for them.. my girls are shy and couldn’t even imagine the awkwardness of having a crush on a boy if i were them- UTTER HUMMILATION- later if not now, resentment anyway..
. caroline- love her commitment to family but wants us to constanlty hear bout how endearing of a mom she is and how she dreads a empty nest- hey u have kids they grow up- not much else to say
jaq- actually like her, seems like a sweet person, but storyline is she had baby and has a teenager daughter that is going through (typical teenage) rebellion (which doesnt seem too extreme right now-thank goodness-)– her daughter is a typical teenage girl drumming up drama— she wants attention, or maybe an acting career-
theresa- actually i like her the most at the beginning, but the last few episodes, made me a little aggravated with her. I always thought that she was creating a monster with her kids (if you don’t believe in spankings- then they need a lot of time-outs) and in the long run it can hurt them and their character. But, as crazy as danielle can be it bugged me that Theresa got so mad and embarrassed about the forclosure bankruptcy announcement. Myself and many hardworking famiies are struggling to keep their homes , BECAUSE of the economy– not because of lavish, gaudy spoilded living- I don’t know it seels so hyprocritical to spend like that, deny it because of reputation, but also hoping that bankruptcy will wipe some of the spending away..
OH forgot- if dina left the show for her child, family— her daughter will- if not now0 will one day admire her mother’s stand
But all in all…
instead of these womwn focusing on the real houswives of NJ- but focus on being the REAL Mothers of Real Children…
—we talk about child stars lives ruined by the time of being an adult– think about child reality stars whose families aren’t from a script.. I guess that will be on a Biography channel in the future

Danielle Staub’s rumored girlfriend, out-artist Lori Michaels, was out on the town in Manhattan this weekend talking about her involvement in the Staub Sex tape scandal.
What the frig? He’s claiming he spent fifteen years in the pen for her?
Uh, no. He did fifteen years for being caught and found guilty.
I’m not sure I understand why Staub would owe him for paying off drug dealers who wanted her dead.
