Bethenny Frankel had a book signing last night at the Barnes and Noble in Tribeca, not far from her home. Here’s a review from someone in attendance.
I went to Bethenny’s book signing last night. About 400 people showed up. I’ve had a TON of books signed, but I can honestly say that Bethenny is my favorite at this point. She was so gracious, took time with people, made eye contact, thanked and thanked and THANKED her fans repeatedly and cried a couple of times. She’s hilarious, self deprecating, and very pretty in person.
She was also giving out business cards for that lady who talked to her about pregnancy on the show (the blond with a kind of lisp) at the clothing shop, Shawn the wedding planner who she kept recommending to brides to be, and the bakery who made her cake. I think perhaps she also had a thing about the(Amsale) wedding dress there, too. I didn’t see Jason there, but she mentioned that he was around so I assume he was fading into the background. I asked her if she talked with Jill and she said that only Ramona and Alex were a part of her life from RHONY and that she adored them. I asked about Bryn and whether or not we’d get to see her birth and she kinda winked a little and said (paraphrased), “I can’t tell you that, but I can tell you the remaining shows are funny and magical.”
She said that her favorite things to film are the talking heads because she enjoys being asked questions and responding. Plus they have make up touch up. She also said that Cookie is still a biter, but the dog therapist has a lot of hope for her. She’s not mad at Shawn for calling Cookie Cujo because if the shoe fits … but Cookie is very protective of Bryn and likes to sleep right under her crib.

I also attended Bethenny’s book signing last night. I agree with you that she looked beautiful. She was beyond gracious. She seemed sincere when she thanked me after I congratulated her on baby Bryn and told her I’m happy for her. She was very appreciative of her fans. She deserves all the success she has.
Shawn the wedding planner was a doll. He posed for a picture with me! Julie seemed cool, but I did not get a chance to speak with her. I wish I’d gotten a glimpse of Jason! My evening would have been even better. He seems like a sweetheard.
