In an earlier post, I stated I wouldn’t snark on Kelly Bensimon because, in my humble opinion, she is certifiable, and shouldn’t be on television.  Well folks, turns out Kelly reads me, or at least my tweets, and wanted to start a tweet war with me last night. Mind you, I tweeted this message to my followers, not directly to Kelly:

Me:  said i would leave @kikilet alone, since she’s certifiable, but what’s with the love for @perezhilton…girl is gone

Kelly: absurdtosublime @perezhilton is a marketing genius and @bravotv creates incredible tv. Happy summer

Me:   @kikilet  stay well

Kelly:  @absurdtosublime you too. Its tv, cutie.

At least she’s knows I’m cute!  One of my followers wrote to me “don’t you mean GET WELL? ” Told her I was being kind.

Does Perez Hilton love her?  Hell no, he calls her crazy like the rest of us. But Kelly, in her gummy-bear world, seems to think all publicity is good publicity. She wants to return to the Real Housewives of New York City, but after being  escorted off  St. John after her meltdown, maybe the producers and Andy Cohen don’t want her back.  Psychosis is no fun to watch.

The Strange Case of Kelly Bensimon

Police Think Kelly’s a Man at Arrest

from reality tea:

The Real Housewives of New York City star, who might or might not be in dire need of anti-psychotic meds, is simply the gift that keeps on giving. Kelly writes some more nonsensical rants on her twitter page, that is of course, when she’s not busy linking non flattering articles and videos of herself to her followers.

“enjoy what the press writes. everyone needs content, let them use my tweets, youtube.com videos whatever they need. its content,” is perhaps the only tweet Kelly wrote that actually made sense. And thank you Kelly for all the crazy content you give.

It all started when some sites and blogs started writing about her insane starvation diet. You know the one she shared with Star magazine that has her eating 2 oranges for breakfast, brown rice, broccoli and tofu for lunch, and salad with shrimp for dinner, six days a week. Well she received a lot of criticism, deservedly so, for her starvation diet, which is even more unhealthy when you add in the fact that this woman runs in NYC traffic 6 – 7 times a week.

Kelly re-affirmed that she does indeed eat that diet via twitter but denied the diet is 700 calories a day as claimed by many blogs. She tweeted, “the kkb diet is am: two oranges, lunch: veggies, brown rice, and tofu with any sauce, dinner: 2 chicken breasts/salad. 7 day: off,” later adding, “texaminer. I said it was 700 calories which is humanly in possible. Sorry examiner, gotta call u out.” I’m guessing she meant to add a ‘never’ in front of said, and the examiner is a site the publishes blogs, one of which criticized her diet.

Well let’s examine the KKB diet then shall we. The calorie count comes directly from WebMD’s food calorie counter.

Breakfast – 2 oranges: 124 Calories (Medium sized orange at 62 cals per orange)

Lunch – Brown rice, tofu and broccoli: 356 Calories (1 cup Brown rice – 216 cals, 1 cup brocolli – 52 cals, 1/2 cup tofu – 88 cals)

Dinner – Salad with shrimp: 192 Calories (1.5 cup Salad with shrimp with no dressing – 106 cals, dressing – Italian, 2 Tbs – 86 cals)

Total: 672 Calories

So Kelly Bensimon eats a diet of 672 calories a day, assuming she uses 2 tablespoons of salad dressing instead of one. The 700 calories the other blogs dubbed her diet is apparently generous. “I run eveyday for 2miles and do 30 lunges on each leg,” tweeted Kelly. A 42-year-old woman who runs two miles seven days a week is only taking in 672 calories a day folks! Eating disorder anyone?

The nuttyness doesn’t end with the diet. Kelly also stated she would only return for a 4th season of the NYC Housewives “if they upgrade the cast to REAL New York A-list women.”

Below are more interesting tweets by Kelly:

“bullying doesnt discriminate. its ugly and pointless.”

“i wish they’d show the real me. kids, dogs, horses, creativity, charity, and hard work doesn”t sell. people like fighting.”

“crazy sells. noone likes the nice girl. reality tv is meant to entertain. talk shows teach/preach.”

“PLAYBOY had an outreach of 239 million. i want to do it again at 50.”

“reality tv should be about REAL people, not fabricated reality stars. its a bad example for women. i want people to aspire to greatness”

These my folks, are the worlds of a self proclaimed Colombia Columbia graduate. Really nothing else to add at this point but I do have to ask the question, does Kelly have “people” working for her? You know like a publicist or manager of some sort to advise her against making an asinine anti bullying PSA video, or tell her not to share a 700 calories a day diet with millions of people. Perhaps its time for her loved ones to step in and start feeding her, while also taking away her internet twitter access.

She wants it, she’ll get it. By the way, she blocked her number one fan, Tweetmaxine, who can go on and on about how beautiful Kelly is…go figure.

When you write “in possible” in lieu of “impossible” you are seriously wandering into the area of being a functional illiterate. Bethanny was right when she said Kelly may have gone to Columbia the country, but never was a Columbia University grad. Columbia does have classes for extended adult education but even then, Kelly is not well educated, or it seems smart enough to self edit her writing. The diet she eats and thinks is a normal amount of food doesn’t surprise me because Kelly very rarely seems to be anchored in reality. She says it so it’s true, she doesn’t like pesky facts to get in the way of her being authentic. Kelly is and will always be at her core an idiot.

That tweet where she called out the article re:700 calories bothers me because she writes it is ‘in possible’…..this from a Columbia (Colombia) student??? REALLY??? Has she never heard of the word IMPOSSIBLE?
