I stumbled upon this article dated May 1, 2009. It appears the Ramona Singer story of Jill Zarin being out of favor at Saks ( I also heard Bloomingdales) had some truth in it.

FOR “The Real Housewives of New York City,” the drama off screen is as heated as what you see on TV.

Jill Zarin, borrowed a Chloe dress from the high-end boutique Intermix for her daughter, Ally, a week ago Tuesday.

“Jill was at the store and acting like a total nightmare. Her stylist took home all these dresses and then returned one with a huge stain down the front,” said our insider. “She didn’t offer to pay for the cleaning.

But Zarin told Page Six that “the dress had a tiny little spot on it” when her stylist, Eric Stern, sent it to her. “I told my daughter to wear it on the carpet for [charity] Operation Smile anyway. Nobody would notice it, and she could bring it back.”

Zarin said her college-bound daughter “returned the dress on time and told the store the truth” by pointing out the spot.

Stern backed Zarin, saying he pulled dresses for all six of the stars of “Real Housewives” that day.

“I have a wonderful relationship with Intermix,” he said, though he couldn’t say whether the stain was there when he sent it to Zarin. “I take full responsibility for the situation, and I am handling it with Intermix.”

Intermix had no comment.

I don’t know what’s worse, Jill’s sweaty used clothing being returned, or the fact that she has a stylist ( and she’s angry with Bethenny?)
