If my parent was about to star in a reality show, I’d just about die. So don’t even get me started on the degrees of mortification I might suffer should they star in one of Bravo’s “Real Housewives” installments, which historically celebrate the most lavish of lifestyles. But Spencer Grammer couldn’t be more excited that her stepmother is about to become one of the network’s newest faces!
“I’m really excited for her,” Spencer tells PopWrap of Camille Grammer’s casting on the now-filming “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” franchise. “I think it’ll be a really good chance for the world to get to know my amazing stepmother. Everyone’s had their ups and downs, but she’s really cool and I am excited for her to have something that will show people how super fun she is.”
As for a cameo, Spencer’s commitments to ABC Family’s “Greek” could keep her off camera … for now! “I might [appear],” she says. “I haven’t really discussed it with anyone yet, but you never know!”
In addition to Camille, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” (which will premiere on Bravo in 2011) will reportedly follow:
-Kim and Kyle Richards: Kathy Hilton‘s younger sisters
-Adrienne Maloof-Nassif: married to Dr. Paul Nassif, a plastic surgeon from E!’s “Dr. 90210″

I will give this franchise one thing. They are real money. I was reading on YBF that there are more franchises coming.
Bravo may be expanding their “Real Housewives” franchise. We just got our hands on an email sent to the New Orleans Hornets Director of Community Affairs office from a Bravo/NBC producer. And it sounds like the franchise is going to New Orleans.
The email states that the producer (the same one who produced the other “Housewives” cities) is looking for New Orleans women who are interested in possibly being featured in a possible “Real Housewives Of New Orleans” show. So of course, said producer wanted to reach out to the NBA wives and community first.
One of our New Orleans sources tells us that Hornets baller Chris Paul’s fiance Jada is already in talks to be a part of the cast. The producer is currently reaching out to certain organizations in the city to gauge women’s interest in the show.
The New Orleans cast would join the current casts of O.C., New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and the currently taping Beverly Hills. And also the heavily rumored future cities of D.C., Dallas, and Boston. I’ll be watching…
