Slade Smiley , the 6th Housewife
A little history lesson:
Q. Why does Vicki Gunvalson hate Slade Smiley so?
A. It all goes back to Season 1, when Slade and Jo de la Rosa were added to the original cast as the “engaged” couple. Slade Smiley and the producer Scott Dunlop, were neighbors and friends at the time. During the “drama”, Slade and Jo had one of their many “breakups’, and Slade started dating Lauri Waring. This relationship only lasted a minute, possibly because Lauri discovered Slade was a “broke-ass”. Slade never showed any interest in Vicki, who, though married, still sees herself as a “hot , young, chick. (Remember the trip to Italy this season?)
But that’s not all……..
By Season 3, the charade was up, and we see Slade moving out of the house he shared with Jo. Why? Foreclosure. Where did he store his stuff? At Vicki’s “Olive Garden on the Green”, the home Jeana Keough sold her when she was downsizing, then decided not to downsize, couldn’t sell , all of which she still blames on Jeana . And Frankie the Fan (remember Lake Havasu, Season 4?). And Slade.
But wait, there’s more….
Scott Dunlop produces Date My Ex exclusively for Slade and Jo. Can you imagine what Queen Bee Narcissist had to say about that?
Even though she was placed in an awkward situation on the girl’s trip, you can’t feel sorry for Vicki. Her hatreds over every little slight run deep. And last forever.
Q. Why does Simon Barney hate Vicki?
A. Easy..she’s got bigger balls, makes more money, and has more control over dumbass Tamra. (buyer’s remorse, Simon?)Besides, he has to blame someone!
Q. Why does Tamra throw Vicki under the bus the moment she gets away from her?
A. High school mean girl at 42. Also, see above.
Q. Why did Simon allow Tamra to go to Vegas without him last season?
A. He didn’t
Q. Why are Belligerent Jim Bellino and Stepford Wife Alexis on this show?
A. Because Bravo is scrapping the bottom of the barrel.
Q. Why did Lynne Curtin go to Florida with staples in her face?
A. Because she’s Lynne…..and because Bravo told her to.
Q. Why is Gretchen Rossi with Slade?
A. Good question, but she must not be a gold-digger.
Q. Did Slade join Hair Club for Men?
A. Naw, he borrowed the piece from NeNe Leakes.
Q. Has this franchise jumped the shark?
A. YES. Bring back Tammy Knickerbocker and Lauri Waring.

Why is Greedy Gretchen with Slade? He’s probably her drug dealer. Otherwise, it doesn’t make sense. I would bet that guy Jay was Gretchen’s previous provider. Everything about that guy just screams coke dealer.
When the money is good, I bet Slade’s got the hookup. When they are broke, he probably gets cheaper stuff like meth. Hence the verrry big change in Gretchen’s face since she hooked up with Slimey. She doesn’t look quite as fresh faced as she used to.
