This post is actually an update to my“Tamra Barney’s Short Sale.
It looks like the Barneys, Simon and Tamra, bought/closed escrow on 3 Pointe Circle on September 8, 2005. Just a hair over four years later, 9/14/09, a notice of default was recorded on the property for an amount of $41,841.
According to Foreclosure Radar, there exists a 1st mortgage for @1,240,000, a 2nd mortgage for $77,500, and a 3rd mortgage for $77,500. My calculator adds that up to $1,395,000. And yes, the Barneys engaged in the usual litany of refi’s and HELOCs.

They frequently miss, mis-post and omit liens and mortgages as they pull their lien data from a third party and don’t verify it. Get online at the County Recorder’s website and review the record directly as there could be many other unlisted liens and loans on the property.
