Well, Slade Smiley managed to get back on The Real Housewives of Orange County for Season 5 via Gretchen Rossi. Will Gretchen let Slade run through the 2.5 mil.left to her by Jeff Beitzel?
It’s a valid question. Slade Smiley, a former championship bike racer from Anchorage, Alaska ( and yes, that’s his real name) managed to get a mortgage through the now defunct Countrywide Title Insurance, where he once worked that was far above the actual value of his Coto de Caza McMansion. He proceeded to take out all the money, buying toys and leasing cars for then girlfriend Jo de la Rosa, and walked away from it all. Even American Express has a hit man looking for him!
In the meantime, he was arrested last February for non-payment of child support in a sting set up by Gretchen –obsessed stalker Jay Photoglou.
