A Real WTF?: Charity Website for Lynne Curtin

I read about this earlier today and thought it was a hoax.  But one of my readers sent me this link:  Read the comments below, they do indeed sum it up. To the three people who have contributed: give it to someone working hard and paying their bills….I take all contributions!

The Team at FundBunch was deeply saddened to hear our favorite housewife of Orange County has fallen on hard times. As most fans of the show know, Lynne and her husband may be evicted from the house they were renting in Laguna. This is the very same house that appeared on the most recent season.
Lynne and her family are in need of $12,000 to avoid being evicted from their lovely home. We are asking that everyone contribute $10 to help. If you are able to give more, please do.
Once the goal is obtained, or by Nov 1, 2009, the FundBunch team will present Ms. Curtin with a check to help with her housing expenses.
If for any reason Ms. Curtin does not accept the funds, all proceeds will be donated to Colette’s Children’s Home of Orange County.

  Are you serious? Did you see the kind of money she spends??? I am suppossed to work full time and keep myself on a budget to bail someone out that made no attempt to live within their own means buying cars, spray tan parties…I don’t think so!

  This website is disgusting!!! How dare you try to solicit money from people who earn their money and know how to spend it and how to manage it, to try to give it to someone who clearly doesn’t. Maybe instead of writing them a check you should write a number to a financial counselor. I wouldn’t give a dime because I know it would go t spray tan parties and beemers for her spoiled rotten daughters. I also agree with Janis…get a real job, and make your kids get jobs. I don’t see this website helping out the millions of other Americans who are losing their homes because they lost their jobs not because they spent their money on extravagant things. Ugh!
