Catfight – The Real Housewives of New Jersey vs. Real Housewives, New York
Its an all out catfight for the women of the dueling reality TV series The New Jersey Housewives and their rivals The New York Housewives, according to a report from Life & Style Weekly. A report from the magazine notes, “Filming is on hold for the 11 women who make up the casts of The Real Housewives of New York City and The Real Housewives of New Jersey — but the drama is wilder than ever anyway. Behind the scenes, the New Yorkers haven’t missed a chance to take a potshot at their New Jersey rivals.”
They have quotes. “I think it was just a lot of theatrics,” Countess LuAnn De Lesseps sniffed when asked for her opinion of New Jersey’s first season. “They created quite a spectacle.” The two casts, she adds, can hardly be compared. “We’re completely different,” she tells Life & Style. “We live in two completely different worlds.”
The item from the celebrity and fashion magazine notes that NYC’s Bethenny Frankel says if it came to a real fight, there would be no contest. “New York would win,” Bethenny tells Life & Style.
Teresa wouldn’t break a nail, Danielle wouldn’t bust a boob, Dina would have Caroline fight for her, and Caroline’s bark is worse than her bite!” And when Life & Style caught up with Bethenny at the Montauk Yacht Club in New York, where she was preparing for the August launch of her Skinnygirl Margaritas, she laid into Teresa’s ditzy persona — particularly noting Teresa’s use of made-up words like “cleansiness.” “Cleansi ness?” Bethenny exclaimed. “Ignorance must be bliss.” And she had a little tip for Teresa, who infamously tried to flip over a dinner table during the season finale. “If you don’t want to be compared to the Sopranos ,” Bethenny advised, “keep the table legs on the floor.”
Careful, Bethenny, you wouldn’t be such a “skinny girl” wearing cement shoes!
