New York Housewives Back for Season 3

 

‘THE Real Housewives of New York City" will return for another go-round of bickering, backstabbing and bonding.

Bravo officially announced a third season yesterday, adding that it’s "currently casting for additional Housewives."

That doesn’t necessarily mean that anyone’s leaving, since other "Housewives" franchises have either added or subtracted cast members in different seasons.

It also could signal that one of the New York "Housewives" won’t be back, although insiders say that casting for new members is standard practice "to see what else is out there" (and to fill the gap should someone exit stage left).

But one "Housewife" who is expected to return to the "New York" series is Bethenny Frankel. .

"Bethenny loves being part of the Bravo family, and if invited she would happily RSVP ‘yes’ to the ‘Real Housewives’ party," Frankel’s rep told The Post yesterday.

As for the others (Jill Zarin,Kelly Bensimon, Ramona Singer,  and Alex McCord ), Bravo officials were mum yesterday on who might return, although published reports had Bensimon already signed, sealed and delivered — and insiders say it’s a good bet all will return once contractual issues have been ironed out.
