“Word comes from across the sea, that New York Housewives’ LuAnn De Lesseps has flown off (desperately?) to Europe to see husband Alex in an attempt to save their crumbling marriage. Alex, the Count de Lesseps has, it is said on the streets of Geneva, taken up with a beautiful Ethiopian beauty who is not only quite a bit younger than he but also quite a bit younger than his wife.

In the meantime, the sixty-something count has slimmed down, tanned up and looks years younger, according to friends, which once again raises the age-old question: Ain’t love grand? In photographs of times past, Alex De Lesseps bears a vague physical resemblance to Bernie Madoff.

The present Count De Lesseps and his Luann have long been a popular couple (as Alex and LuAnn) in the US and on the international social scene. Friends say that since returning to the US several years ago, the countess, who is an American with native American descendents, has focused on developing her acting career.

The success of “The Real Housewives of New York’ some believe, has been detrimental to her marriage.”

What is to be expected of a man who has been married 4 or 5 times (depending on the source?)

“Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, one of the society ladies on Bravo’s "The Real Housewives of New York” has separated from Count de Lesseps after 16 years of marriage. Her husband is a Frenchman whose ancestor presented the Statue of Liberty to the United States.

The reality star’s publicist, Elizabeth Rosenthal, issued a statement Tuesday saying the couple "plan to remain friends and their primary focus will be to do what is best for their two children."

Rosenthal declined to comment on reports the breakup came after the former model learned The Count, Alex de Lesseps, was having a relationship with another woman.

But the Countess will keep her title, says Rosenthal. Her etiquette book, "Class With the Countess," arrives April 16.”

Alex Murrel was a featured cast member on season two of "Laguna Beach." Not featured — her alleged drug dealer friend.

“Feds and local police raided the house Alex rents in Orange County last week and arrested a man identified as her boyfriend for felony possession of cocaine with intent to sell. Law enforcement sources tell us they found the cocaine "packaged for sale."

Gretchen Rossi’s“ex-boyfriend” headed to court Friday armed with a polygraph test in a hearing related to a restraining order she obtained against him.

Jay Photoglou says he was Rossi’s boyfriend, a claim  The Real  Housewives of Orange County star denies. She obtained the order against him March 6, but RadarOnline has learned exclusively that Jay says he took and passed two polygraphs related to Rossi’s claims.

Rossi said Photoglou threatened her life and the life of her boyfriend, ex-OC Housewife hunk Slade Smiley   Photoglou denies all charges.

RadarOnline.com has learned that Photoglou says he took two polygraph examinations on March 21 and passed both. Questions with answers included:

Did you threatened to harm Gretchen Rossi?  No

Did you threatened to strangle Gretchen Rossi? No

Did you threatened to dispose of Slade Smiley?  No

Did threatened to hang yourself in Gretchen Rossi’s bedroom?  No

Did you threaten to kill Gretchen Rossi’s dogs?  No

Between midnight on 2/17/09 and 2/18/09, did you intentionally dial Gretchen Rossi’s telephone number?  Yes

During this call did you make any threats to harm Gretchen Rossi?  No

Did you make this phone call with the intention to play a song that had sentimental value to you?  Yes

During this phone call did you speak to Gretchen Rossi?  No

Photoglou’s lawyer wanted to introduce the results in court but the hearing was continued until May 8.  Someone should film a reality TV show with all this drama.   Oh wait, they already did!

Lie detector tests are not admissible in court….are shit detectors allowed?
